Holocaust Survivor Tells Student Anti-Genocide Protesters: 'Just Keep Doing It'
As Keir Starmer, British politician and barrister, and Leader of the Labour Party, rolls out the red carpet for immigrant-bashing Tory defector Natalie Elphicke, spare a thought for Stephen Kapos.
This Jewish Holocaust survivor was driven out of the Labour Party by Keir Starmer to placate Zionist supporters of genocide.
"There is a question of historical responsibility towards injustice, genocide, and fascism," said Stephen Kapos. "If you are indifferent, if you do not take a stand, you acquire a degree of guilt."
A Holocaust survivor opposed to Israel's war on Gaza on Wednesday told U.S. student protesters they're on the right side of history, and that the global wave of demonstrations against the slaughter and starvation of Palestinians will soon force Western leaders to face up to their complicity in genocide.
Stephen Kapos, 86, was 7 years old in 1944 when he was separated from his family during the Nazi extermination of Jews in his native Hungary. Most of his family was murdered in the Holocaust but Kapos survived and moved to the United Kingdom after the 1956 Soviet invasion of Hungary.
Kapos is part of a small group of Shoah survivors and their descendants who "demonstrate disagreement with the use of the Holocaust experience as a cover by the Zionists and the state of Israel." They attend protests wearing signs around their necks reading, "This Holocaust Survivor Says Stop the Genocide in Gaza!"
"As a Holocaust survivor, my message to the brave student protesters in America is just keep doing it. Don't give up," Kapos said in a video published by Double Down News. "We are doing exactly the same, and in the long term we are going to prevail."
Kapos' comments came amid a growing wave of pro-Palestine student protests, many of them Jewish-led, on dozens of U.S. university and college campuses in response to Israel's U.S.-backed war on Gaza, which the International Court of Justice in January found "plausibly" genocidal and which many Israeli and international experts say is undoubtedly a genocide.
According to Gazan and international officials, more than 122,000 Palestinians have been killed or maimed during 202 days of near-relentless Israeli attacks. This figure includes around 11,000 people who are missing and presumed dead and buried beneath the rubble of hundreds of thousands of bombed-out buildings. Around 90% of Gaza's 2.3 million people have been forcibly displaced. Starvation and dehydration caused by Israel's bombardment and blockade of Gaza are killing children and other vulnerable people.
Instead of condemning Israeli leaders, the Biden administration has lavished them with billions of dollars in U.S. military aid while providing diplomatic cover for Israeli crimes and blocking recognition of Palestinian statehood at the United Nations.
As the suffering in Gaza continues, U.S. students have set up encampments or staged other forms of protest, some of which have been brutally repressed by police, who have also attacked and arrested journalists and bystanders.

George Carlin (born May 12, 1937, New York, N.Y., U.S. - died June 22, 2008, Santa Monica, Calif.) was an American comedian whose “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television” routine led to a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that gave the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) the right to determine when to censor radio and TV broadcasts.
Carlin began working in the late 1950s as a wisecracking radio disc jockey and low-key stand-up comedian known for such whimsical routines as “Wonderful WINO” and the “Hippy Dippy Weatherman.” Beginning in the 1970s, however, he transformed himself into a provocative and incisive anti-establishment comic icon. Carlin was most closely identified with the monologue “Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television,” in which he satirically analyzed the use and misuse of seven of the raunchiest obscenities in the English language. Carlin was arrested in 1972 for performing the monologue onstage, but a judge dismissed the case. In 1973 New York City radio station WBAI-FM triggered a lawsuit by the FCC after it aired a recorded version of the routine called “Filthy Words.” The landmark “Carlin case” was finally settled in 1978 by the U.S. Supreme Court: in a 5–4 ruling, it gave the FCC the ability to censor offensive content in radio and TV broadcasts.
Carlin released more than 20 comedy albums and starred in 14 HBO television specials. As an actor, he usually played a character inspired by his own comic persona (as in the short-lived situation comedy The George Carlin Show [1994]), with the notable exception of his stint in the 1990s as the amiable narrator (and onscreen host, Mr. Conductor) of the children’s programs Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and Shining Time Station. Carlin was honored with the American Comedy Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award (2001) and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor (2008). In 2004 the cable television network Comedy Central ranked Carlin second on its list of the “100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time,” behind African American actor-comedian Richard Pryor and just ahead of the legendary Lenny Bruce. AstraZeneca has admitted in court for the first time that its Covid vaccine can cause a deadly blood clotting side effect.
The exceedingly rare reaction is at the heart of a multi million-pound class action by dozens of families who allege they, or their loved ones, were maimed or killed by the pharmaceutical titan’s ‘defective’ vaccine.
Cambridge-based AstraZeneca, which is contesting the claims, acknowledged in a legal document submitted to the High Court in February that its vaccine ‘can, in very rare cases, cause TTS’.
TTS is short for thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome – a medical condition where a person suffers blood clots along with a low platelet count. Platelets typically help the blood to clot.
The complication – listed as a potential side effect of the jab – has previously been called vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).
AstraZeneca’s admission could lead to pay-outs on a case-by-case basis.
Although accepted as a potential side effect for two years, it marks the first time the company has admitted in court that its jab can cause the condition, The Telegraph reports.
Taxpayers will foot the bill of any potential settlement because of an indemnity deal AstraZeneca struck with the Government in the darkest days of Covid to get the jabs produced as quickly as possible while the country was paralyzed by lockdowns.

The US secretary of state and a Bilderberg surveillance tech oligarch have both made some very interesting admissions about the burgeoning protest movement against the U.S. backed slaughter in Gaza and the problems it poses for the empire they help run.
During a vitriolic rant about university demonstrators at the Ash Carter Exchange on Innovation and National Security on Tuesday, Palantir CEO Alex Karp came right out and said that if those on the side of the protesters win the debate on this issue, the west will lose the ability to wage wars.
For those who don’t know, Palantir is a CIA-backed surveillance and data mining tech company with intimate ties to both the U.S. intelligence cartel and to Israel, playing a crucial role in both the U.S. empire’s sprawling surveillance network and Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
Karp is a billionaire who sits on the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg Group and regularly features at the World Economic Forum and other platforms of plutocratic empire management.

Although ceasefire talks have been making headlines again in the Middle East, Israel does not appear to be backing down on its desire to wipe out Gaza, with Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich recently calling for the “total annihilation” of Rafah along with several other cities in the Gaza Strip.
Smotrich implied that this destruction is part of their biblical duty, referring to a line in the Bible about Amalek. In the book of Deuteronomy, ancient Israelites were commanded to destroy Amalek, while the book of Samuel told them to “slay both man and woman, infant and suckling.”
The finance minister stated: “There are no half measures. Rafah, Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat – total annihilation. ‘You will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven’ – there’s no place under heaven.”
He is not the only Israeli politician drawing this comparison; the country's leader, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has also compared Gaza to Amalek, saying in October: “You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible. And we do remember, and we are fighting.”
His comments were presented as evidence of Israel’s genocidal rhetoric at the International Court of Justice in a genocide case raised by South Africa against the Jewish state.
Should Smotrich get his wish and annihilate Rafah, it would be absolutely devastating. There are currently around 1.5 million civilians sheltering in the city, or half of Gaza’s population. The finance minister does not think that Israel should accept any type of hostage deal that could help avoid activity in Rafah, saying that striking a deal would be a “humiliating defeat.”

The New York Times today reported that COVID-19 vaccine injuries exist and that vaccine-injured people have been ignored. Those findings resulted from a yearlong investigation into the issue, the paper said.
After years of labeling commentary, articles and even search engine queries about vaccine injuries as misinformation, conspiracy theory, and “far-right,” lambasting social media companies for allowing vaccine injury stories on their platforms and even ridiculing a family whose children died from the vaccine, the Times conceded that “thousands” may have been injured by the COVID-19 vaccines.
Under the headline, “Thousands Believe Covid Vaccines Harmed Them. Is Anyone Listening?” Times reporter Apoorva Mandavilli reported that the injuries aren’t unexpected because “all vaccines have at least occasional side effects.”
The article featured several vaccine-injured people, reporting on their medical issues and the “disbelief and ambivalence” they encountered from doctors and the media.
The Times also published two commentaries related to the investigative feature. One, by Mandavilli, summarized key takeaways from the investigation and the other, by David Leonhardt for “The Morning Newsletter,” reassured readers about the safety of the vaccines and downplayed the injuries.

An X account with the handle AIPAC Tracker recently disclosed that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has already received more than $524,000 from AIPAC and the Israel lobby, as per a report run by the Federal Election Commission (FEC), an independent government agency whose purpose is to enforce campaign finance law in United States federal elections.
"The Speaker of the House is working for a foreign entity. #RejectAIPAC," it posted on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. AIPAC Tracker monitors the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Israel lobby and their anti-democratic influence.
The revelation came on the heels of previous allegations against Johnson. He was found to have accepted large donations from a pro-Israeli lobby to push in Congress for the approval of a hefty $14 billion aid package for Israel.
Enraged by the alleged blatant corruptive ways of the House speaker, X users replied to the thread calling Johnson a "foreign agent" or "Judas."
We ran an FEC report on Speaker Mike Johnson and found he has now received >$524,000 from AIPAC and the Israel lobby.

The Bizarre Gymnastics Of The Gaza Aid Pier

So let me get this straight. The U.S. wound up building its "floating pier" a few miles off the coast of Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid, but nobody will be able to ship the aid directly to the pier to get it to Gaza.
Instead, the aid will be delivered to Cyprus via air or sea, and then from Cyprus the aid will be shipped 200 miles to the pier. From there the pallets of aid will be loaded onto smaller U.S. army boats, which will then carry the aid from the pier to a long causeway on Gaza's actual coast.
Those pallets will then be carried from the boats to the shore via the causeway, possibly by British troops or possibly by Israeli troops depending on what source you're reading, and taken into Gaza by IDF troops after careful examination and approval of their contents.
All to deliver some 90 to 150 truckloads worth of aid per day, which is far short of the 500 truckloads the UN says Gaza needs.
And this is all being done because Israel isn't simply letting people drive an adequate amount of aid through the custom-built gates directly into Gaza.
Since Washington doesn't want to exert any pressure on Israel to allow such a self-evident move, this immensely complicated and expensive dance is being performed to deliver a pathetically inadequate amount of aid instead.
Aid that is only necessary because Israel has been destroying Gaza in its genocidal bombing campaign which it has been carrying out with total impunity.

Opposing The Gaza Genocide While Supporting Joe Biden Is A Dishonest, Nonsensical Position

It's like saying "Sure my husband's a serial killer, but he's great with the kids." If someone said that to you, the only conclusion you could possibly come to is that they're really not all that bothered by the serial killing.
Nobody who claims to oppose the Gaza genocide while simultaneously supporting Joe Biden actually opposes the Gaza genocide. They’re just saying what needs to be said to win approval in the political sector they want the approval of. They’re not taking a moral stand, they’re cultivating an image. They’re building a brand.
One of many possible examples of this ridiculous posturing is Instagram progressive Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has called Israel’s atrocities in Gaza “an unfolding genocide” while continuing to support and defend the US president who’s currently backing that genocide, and who recently attended one of the pro-Palestine campus demonstrations which her president recently smeared as “antisemitic protests”.
What AOC is doing here is attempting to straddle the impossible divide between what progressive Democrats claim their party is about and what it’s actually about in real life. She’s paying lip service to opposing injustice, supporting a ceasefire and siding with anti-genocide activists because that’s the sort of thing progressives are supposed to do, while simultaneously throwing her political support behind an administration that is facilitating injustice, keeping the genocide going, and smearing those who protest against it.
You really couldn’t put together a more incoherent position if you tried. You can’t acknowledge that Israel is committing genocide without also acknowledging that the Biden administration has been actively participating in that genocide. If you acknowledge that Biden is guilty of genocide, then you are acknowledging that he is guilty of the most horrific crime a state leader can possibly commit short of initiating a nuclear exchange.

It Is Everyone's Responsibility To Help Save Gaza

I think one of the reasons it took so long for student protests against the Gaza genocide to kick into high gear in the U.S. might be because it took some time for the collective realization to dawn that nobody in charge is interested in ending this nightmare.
If Trump had won in 2020, it may not have taken so long for this to occur. Progressive-minded students would have understood from the beginning that the president is an immoral Israel-coddling imperialist, and we may have been seeing these campus protests that are freaking out the empire managers today a lot sooner.
But because it was Biden and not Trump, there was this background assumption that surely the grownups in charge would take care of this thing. Surely they won’t let this go on for very long. Surely they’re just walking a careful diplomatic line while negotiating a ceasefire in the near term, as any government that cares one iota about human rights would be doing.
It took half a year for that illusion to be dispelled. Half a year for people to really start going, “Oh shit. They’re really just going to keep these atrocities going. Nobody in charge cares about stopping this.”
Half a year to see that nobody in the White House is going to save Gaza, none of their elected lawmakers on Capitol Hill are going to save Gaza, nobody anywhere in their government is going to save Gaza, not even the ordinary members of the public in the older generations are going to save Gaza.

Empire managers and propagandists are losing their minds about student protests against the genocide in Gaza on university campuses, so naturally we're seeing a mad push to frame this as the result of interference by Russia, China, Iran and Hamas.
It’s also a big loogie in the eye of any self-respecting free thinker. Unless your brain has been turned into bean curd by empire propaganda, the idea that young people would need to be manipulated into opposing the incomprehensible horrors that are being inflicted upon human beings in Gaza is an appalling insult to your intelligence.
But that just shows how desperate these freaks are getting. More and more people are waking up from the lies they’ve been fed about their government, their nation and their world as western institution after western institution completely discredits itself in the eyes of the mainstream public trying to defend the most indefensible things imaginable.
They’re frantically scrambling to try to remedy this PR crisis they’ve created for themselves, but everything they’ve tried so far has been a pathetic failure that has only made things worse for them, turning an entire generation into wide awake radicals whose bright young eyes will never, ever unsee what they have seen.

The United States doesn’t support a two-state solution, the U.S. only supports saying the U.S. supports a two-state solution.
We know this because the U.S. just vetoed Palestine’s bid to become a full UN member state, after lobbying other countries to vote against the resolution, despite continually saying it supports the foundation of a Palestinian state.
Washington’s words say one thing, but its actions say the opposite.
This is because if the U.S. admitted its actual position, it would greatly damage its reputation on the world stage.
What the U.S. actually wants is the same thing the Israelis want: for the Palestinians to go away, or lie down and submit completely, or otherwise stop being an inconvenience until they’re a forgotten footnote in the dustbin of history.
But the U.S. can’t come right out and say this, so it pretends to support a two-state solution that Israel has spent years doing everything it can to ensure never happens.
It’s a completely fictional resolution to a very real problem, but the alternative to supporting it is to admit you support continued apartheid, oppression, ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Quashing University Protests And Banning TikTok To Make The Kids Love Israel

I mean, you kind of have to wonder what they're thinking.
"Yeah, that's it. Violently quash pro-Palestine protests at universities, ban TikTok to ensure the suppression of pro-Palestine content.
And saturate the boomer media with obvious propaganda. That'll make the kids love Israel."
The Ukraine war funding part of the bill was actually reportedly pushed through with behind-the-scenes collaboration between Trump and Republican lawmakers. Anyone who still buys Trump’s “ending the wars, fighting the deep state” schtick is a fucking moron.
When Israel’s genocide funding made it through the House, Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted, “The US Congress just overwhelmingly passed a much appreciated aid bill that demonstrates strong bipartisan support for Israel and defends Western civilization. Thank you friends, thank you America!”
And he’s not wrong. The U.S. congress does have massive bipartisan support for Israel, and pouring war machinery into that genocidal apartheid state does in fact bolster the blood-fueled machine of nonstop murder and tyranny that is so-called, “western civilization.”
