Net / net: the Emergency use authorization IS still in effect for the Pfizer/bioNTech product. A new BioNTech product name "Comirnaty" is the offical FDA approved version. Pfizer has a massive quantity and will continue to distribute while "Comirnaty" is brought to market. "Comirnaty" might not exist or it's possible it never was going to exist, but provides the lovely side effects:
1 - Politicians get "there is an FDA approved version", but i bet it won't be available (I'm from Missouri) - hence MANDATES
2 - liability shield with the current Pfizer version
3 - profit

Maybe i'll be wrong, we'll see....
