On a rainy day in June, 2017, Ben Kuzay entered Auditory Bliss Studio in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and laid down his legendary bass track for the eponymous single of The Pyre. The single was released in October of that year, and would end up being the only song ever released by the band. Shawn Schwanke and Erik O'Reilly, who were both present in the studio that session, had requested permission to film Mr. Kuzay tracking, which he obliged happily, as a matter of policy. The video you are watching is a precious memento from a nostalgic and historical moment in music history.
