I talked about a similar situation that Pathfinder did and how they did it much better. I also list a handful of suggested fixes they could have gone with instead that are simply better than the middle finger they gave their audience.

In this video I talk about the worst advice I was ever given for dungeons and Dragons. Well technically the advice was for Pathfinder first edition, but I also read a lot of dungeons and Dragons forms to get the advice, so I guess it applies here. This is also a common piece of advice I still see echoed today but thankfully most people have caveats unlike when I first found it.
In this Video I talk about the fictional history of Rakshasas. I also explain what a Rakhasas is, why Rakshasas have backwards hands, and how Rakshasas were added to D&D. I also go over the mythological origins of the Rakshasa. I end with a note on how Rakshasas can be used in your games or writings, plus an anecdote about my Rakshasa which was inspired by Critical Role.

In this Video I talk about the history of Kobolds. From their start as Cercopes and Cabeiri in ancient Greece where they fought Hercules. To their gnomish and trickster roots in modern Germany. I end by showing how the modern dog like Kobolds and Lizard or dragon like Kobolds exist. Find out how 1st edition D&D and 2nd Edition DND established Kobolds before 3rd Edition split them off. The OGL controversy has broken DNDs stranglehold and players are looking for new games to try so I made this helpful video summarizing their strengths and weaknesses. WoTC has had their new OGL leak. With this new Open Gaming License I am afraid they will destroy D&D as a brand. Here I go in depth into the history of D&D and its OGL from the 2nd Edition buy out through the creation in 3rd Edition and its continuation in 5e. Then I show how the 5th Edition changes to 6e or the 6th Edition or One DND as they are calling it. Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro have made a major mistake here and are using fear to bully people out of making content for the games they love. They have killed their golden goose to get at those eggs inside and now the OSR will thrive. Also don't steal or pirate Wizards of the Coast’s products, find a good Third Party RPG like Pathfinder to replace it. Remove their market share.
