A viewer recently asked, “Do you have any teachings that support the credibility of Paul’s writings? When I make a case using Paul’s teachings they are dismissed as heretical.” -JB. I actually get this question more than you might think. Sadly, it’s not uncommon for Torah-keeping Christians to try to minimize or even reject Paul because he so clearly teaches that Christians are not under the Old Covenant law. Just spend some time in the comments section of our YouTube channel.

For me, this is a litmus test issue. I actually don’t spend any time arguing for the credibility of Paul’s writings because a prerequisite of the Christian faith is belief in the Bible. And, to paraphrase Augustine: If you accept the parts of the Bible that you like, and reject the parts that you don't, it's not the Bible you believe but yourself. If certain parts of Scripture need to be thrown out in order for your theology to work, you are following a false theology.
