Hi, my name is Russ Leach and I am a professional Comic Artist.
My channel has Speed-draws, comic art and tips & tricks for producing comics!

I've loved comics my whole life but only found my way into drawing them as a career in 2010.

I would now consider myself a professional comic artist, as since 2015 I've picked up paying gigs from Marvel, BBC, PaniniUK, Hachette, Aces Weekly and Cartoon Network. Prior to that I produced two graphic novels for Markosia and have contributed to multiple Indy books, my closest association being to the fabulous Unstoppable Comics.

I am a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Karate and just like the martial art, comic strip art and illustration requires the basics to get you to a competent standard! But just like Karate when you hit that level, your first Black Belt, it's only then that you start to learn the real intricacies and start to merge your skills and individual talents with the art!

So please join me in the dojo, take part in the conversation and hopefully we'll enjoy the journey together :)
