Rules:
Place the digits from 1 to 6 exactly once in every row, column, and region. The regions are orthogonally OR diagonally connected and must be located by the solver. A number in the top left corner of a cell indicates the sum of the digits in the orthogonally connected section of the region that cell belongs to. A cell with a red X in the bottom right corner indicates the size (ie the number of cells) of the orthogonally connected section of the region that cell belongs to. All possible size clues (red Xs) are given.

Normal sudoku rules apply. "V" can be either "inequality" (arrow ‘points’ to smaller digit) or "two digits sum to 5" or both. If the two digits do sum to 5, the "V" can be in any orientation and does not necessarily indicate ‘greater than/less than’. Digits must not repeat in cells that are a chess knight's move apart. The digits in a cage must sum to the number printed in its corner. Entering a correct digit will clear the fog from around that cell.

We have featured many puzzles by the maths professor Dorlir and today it is his daughter's 7th birthday! He has made a special miracle sudoku to celebrate so we thought it would be a nice puzzle to have a go at in today's video. This is an astonishing piece of work (how did he have the idea??!) and, although not easy, showcases some stunning logic. Bravo Dorlir and a very happy birthday to your daughter!

Rules:
Fill the grid with eight non-overlapping 2x4 regions oriented horizontally (i.e. 2 rows and 4 columns), such that each region contains the digits from 1 to 8 once each and no digit repeats in any row or column. Cells outside regions don't contain digits. Draw a single one-cell-wide loop in the grid that travels orthogonally, doesn't branch, and isn't allowed to touch itself, not even diagonally, and doesn't pass through any of the empty cells. Any two adjacent cells along this loop must include one extreme digit [1,2,7,8] and one medium digit [3,4,5,6]. For each region N, the digit N must be on the loop within this region. (Regions are numbered in reading order, based on the position of their top left cell, i.e. a region with its top left cell further down in the grid than another region will have the higher region number. If two regions have their top left cell in the same row, the region on the right will have the higher region number.) Digits along marked diagonals sum to the number indicated outside the grid.

Normal sudoku rules apply. Nine cells (one per row/column/box) are doublers, and have values equal to double their digit. Each digit appears in exactly one doubler. A value X in a cage points to a second value Y located X cells away vertically or horizontally. The number in the top left corner of the cage indicates the sum of X+Y.

Two cells joined by a white dot have a difference of 1. Two cells joined by a purple dot have a ratio of the number written in the purple dot. A cell with a circle contains an odd digit, and a cell with a square an even digit.
It takes between 15 and 20 minutes to complete Kathrin Bohnet's master's thesis survey. The survey is anonymous and no data can be traced back. The data collected is used exclusively for scientific research purposes:

Rules:
Divide the digits from 1 to 9 into two teams such that every digit from 1 to 9 is in exactly one of the two teams. Thereby, the finished grid has areas (of orthogonally connected cells) which contain only digits from one team and are bounded by digits of the other team and/or the border of the grid. A number clue gives the sum of all the digits in such an area. Digits may repeat in such an area and the sum clues are in an arbitrary position within the area. Each area has at most one clue, but may also have none at all.

Rules:
Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply. (Place the digits 1 to 6, once each, in every row, column and region).
Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area, as do all unshaded cells, and no 2x2 area is entirely shaded or unshaded.
Counting Yin Yang: A digit in a shaded cell shows how many times that digit appears in shaded cells.
Quadruples: A digit in a circle must appear in the surrounding 4 cells. If a digit appears twice in a circle, it must appear twice in the surrounding 4 cells.

Normal sudoku rules apply. Adjacent digits along a green line have a difference of at least five. Box borders divide a blue line into segments with the same sum. Digits on the purple line must be a consecutive set of digits, in any order.
