I am writing to share the story of a friend and her son, facing a series of challenges that have significantly impacted their lives. The reason for her videos. The journey began when my friend traveled for a brief 10-day visit to a relative. At the time, she was already 8 weeks pregnant. She and her fiancé knew before she travelled. Initially, she had sufficient funds to buy a return ticket to Central America in which she was residing and planned her future with her fiancé and the baby. She also had funds for small emergencies that might arise on any travel. However, upon arrival, she experienced a severe asthma attack and immediately sought medical 
attention, subsequently setting off a chain of unfortunate events.

Regrettably, the medical care she received was inadequate, leading to the development of further health complications. Throughout her pregnancy, she encountered difficulties in receiving the proper care and support she needed. Unjustly, she was subject to judgment and stigmatization, as misunderstandings arose surrounding her circumstances.

Nevertheless, due to the medical professionals' refusal to listen to her, she felt was wrongly labeled as a drug addict and undeservingly mistreated since her first hospital visit. It then at seven months pregnant got even worse.

She experienced minimal to nonexistent communication with her family and friends throughout her pregnancy, unable to contact them in her situation the medical system forced her into, leaving her in a country without a support system. One week before the birth of her son, she received assistance from social workers in securing an apartment. She had no choice but to take it and stay even longer needing medical answers and help. Still in medical distress, she needed proper medical care and was left very weak and in pain with no help in sight and many trying to hide what was done to her. While she still sought proper medical care but was unsuccessful.

Unfortunately, they faced mistreatment not only directed at my friend, but also towards her son. The inadequate support provided by medical professionals resulted in numerous health complications for my friend, including visual impairment that renders her unable to drive or do many of f the things she was accustomed to doing.

Additionally, her son has been diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome, leading to involuntary noises and movements. She believes this is from the trauma she endured in pregnancy.

Since becoming acquainted with my friend, I have received valuable education on various aspects of medical papers and documents to look out for. She has imparted knowledge on how to effectively analyze these documents to ensure accurate results are received, and how to verify I am receiving only my results.

Interestingly, she found herself in possession of lab reports belonging to several other patients, and received calls from a clinic more than once for someone with the same name. The vast amount of information and insights she has shared will undoubtedly aid me in future medical procedures and examinations for my safety.

My friend's life experiences have provided her with a wealth of diverse perspectives. She has regaled me with tales of her travels, encounters with fascinating individuals, insights, and reflections on her personal history. Her broad knowledge and studies are evident.

She spoke with a lawyer in a different jurisdiction, who stated it was a good idea that she go public when mentioning her plans to do so. She then received notice from the college of the physicians and surgeons with their first update, five months after handing over documents necessary to prove harm. In that was a “suggestion” she not speak to friends and family for what she perceives to be what she calls algorithms, greed, dishonesty, and profit in the beginning.

She has decided to continue in her plan to bring awareness to others so they can protect themselves.
