is 2d animation dead? It is not dead, it is just being used less and less. Since 3D animation is glorified and prefered over 2D animation, more and more companies use 3D animation over hand drawn animation. 2D animation is expensive and it has been cheapened with Flash animation that looks horrible. Disney is no longer the leader in animation. Anime is the new leader.
