Dave Clemo- Carn Gloose

This is a song that I wrote about a place that is dear to my heart. Carn Gloose is a headland on the north coast of Cornwall just a few miles from Lands End. It overlooks Cape Cornwall and is reached by a narrow road that is easy to miss. We first visited there in 2008. A year later we returned. I was awaiting results of tests that would confirm that I had Leukaemia. As we sat in the late summer sun the seeds of the song were sown. A couple of years later I was in remission and went into our studio to record this version of the song. It was mixed by Wendy Taylor, a music teacher and friend who wanted to learn about digital recording and mixing, so we spent an afternoon working on the track.
