A few days into the start of a permaculture set up, I'm noticing a mantis coming over... This one 'Bella' scared me at first, when she few on my hand. We then became fast friends, I would enjoy watching her on my daily gardening sessions and she even followed me around the courtyard ‘Bella the Mantis sticky beak’. Recorded in the tide of Midautumn’s Mabon, Southern Hemisphere late March
Mabon is relative modern term to mark the 2nd harvest of the year or the autumnal equinox tide. It is derived after the Welsh son Mabon, from the original ancient ethnic Britonnic And Gaulish ancestral Gottess mother Mātronā, meaning "Great Mother", from Proto-Celtic *mātīr (mother), celebrating and recognising the tide of Midautumn’s arrival and the harvest in the European ancestor veneration/spirits, in the wheel of the year...
