Ehm Michaels here. HELLO and thank you for listening to my little story. As this file uploads the ink is still wet on the paper from writing this past Sunday (October 2nd, 2022); this 3000-word story is an expansion from a 300-word short I had written in 2014.

On my channel here I intended to publish all of my originals plus all of Melville's Moby Dick plus a few Jack London short story works and also other writer's whose impact upon me has been ...well, worthwhile to my continously improving understanding of myself.

Written in November 2001 for my paternal grandmother, name of Joyce, on her 80th birthday. She lived to be 96 years old.
