Some are even saying that California is the first failed state. It used to be a place of opportunity, riches and beauty, but since has become a distributor of low quality of life. California is a third world country in many ways right now. With a rampant real estate market creating a homeless crisis, power outages, wildfires and terrible legislation, it's easy to see what is creating the conditions required for a place to be considered "third world".

How did california become a shit hole? By having the same terrible leadership they have had for years. They just keep pushing the envelop for all the wrong reasons. Even though in their minds they have good intentions, they're making bad decisions at every turn. With everything that is happening there, it's hard not to think that California is a garbage fire. California is falling to it's worst position in years and like a train wreck, it is hard to look away.

I feel for all of my friends and family in California. If you or someone you know is in California, please get them help. There are networks of people who try to save those poor souls who can't save themselves.
