Recorded on 11/10/23. I have a treat for you all for the few videos! In 2017, I was actually here at the capital lobbying with the New York State PTA and meeting with assemblymen and state senators. I rode these elevators but wasn't able to film them due to time and how busy these elevators were when congress was in session. Last year, I came here after visiting the Corning Tower and it was a much better time to explore the capital and ride these awesome elevators! And with a much better camera too! These elevators were modernized with CJ Anderson equipment. However, the ornate cabs and design remain! You will not want to miss this series on this channel!

I was on my last ever youth group retreat with my church and decided to do a video of what I thought was a cool vending machine. When I tried to do a video of the vending machine, problems started to arise. Beginning from not accepting dollar bills, a jammed dollar bill machine, deleting the amount of money I already put into the machine and more. Enjoy this unplanned extravaganza!

Recorded on 4/8/24. This was another high-priority elevator I wanted to check out while in Buffalo last month. Most of the videos from this trip are going live in 2025. However, I couldn't wait until 2025 to share my first-ever ride on a Schindler elevator with the rare low-pitched chimes. I ended up traveling six hours away from home to ride one of these, but I was incredibly happy to finally ride one of these! These elevators are from 2002. One of the elevators was broken, but thankfully, it was the one without chimes. If the elevator with the working low-pitched chimes were the elevator that was broken, this would have been a disappointing visit. Schindler discontinued the chime for better ADA compliance for the visually impaired who rely on chimes to know what direction the elevator is going in. Many elevators have had their low-pitched chimes replaced with high-pitched chimes. Still, I am very happy to see the low-pitched chimes live on with this elevator. Enjoy! Recorded on 4/12/18. Here is another throwback video to 2018! I still have a couple of videos from my old Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime phone. I do not miss not having image stabilization, lol! This is the former Elephant's Trunk Store in Mount Kisco. In 2021, Elephants Trunk did a massive downsize and moved to one of the retail spaces at 280 North Bedford Road (The building with the older Dover Impulse Elevator with the pink cab). In 2023, this building got converted into a multi tenant building. Currently a dentist is the only tenant in this building and they occupy the first and second floors. Yes even the entrance where the elevator is. So technically this building has "security" that is "temporary". Once more tenants move into the building, the dentist will have to reconfigure and we should be able to ride this elevator again. However, this elevator unfortuently got modernized since the building also recieved a pretty heavy rennocation. I am not sure when I will be able to return to this building to ride the modernized elevator since I have to wait for the dentist to not be the only tenant in this building because more tenants will turn this building into a usual multi tenant building. When this happens, you will all get a video of the new elevator. Until then, enjoy this video!

Earlier this spring, I revisited the Willowbrook Mall on my way to Pennsylvania to get more updated videos of the elevators since JCPenney has occupied the old Lord & Taylor space and brought the elevator back into service. While I was low on time on my way out, I noticed these Montgomery escalators. Since the escalators were Montgomery, I had to make a video of them. I love Montgomery! Enjoy!

Recorded on 4/8/24. Last month, I ventured out to the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area to see the total solar eclipse pass through. While up there, I found some time before the solar eclipse to ride some elevators in the Amherst/Williamsville area. This was my first stop since seeing this elevator was a VERY HIGH PRIORITY for me! This is my first ever United States circle button elevator! I rode some United States elevators back at Disney World, but they were either modernized or had different types of buttons that were not made by United States elevator. So, this elevator was a huge treat for me. I didn't want to leave Buffalo without seeing this elevator! The buttons are insanely satisfying to push. STL Elevators, Diesel Elevators, Brandon Miller, and Brandon have all ridden this awesome elevator, too. Enjoy!

Recorded on 8/4/23. Here is one of the oldest elevators in Grand Central Terminal. This elevator is actually quite small! Before the video we ran into a Ken who was incredibly rude to us because William was getting a video of the elevator shaft and the Ken said "Are you done f****** with the elevators?! Even worse he was a Metro North Railroad train operator that actually took us home on the Harlem Line. But at least we got this video in piece. Thankfully he didn't try to go after us for filming because Grand Central is tax payer funded public property so our photography rights are protected here. Enjoy the video!

Recorded on 8/4/23. This hotel was supposed to be demolished in 2020 and rebuilt but the lockdowns suspended that project so we got to see these elevators again! These elevators are interesting as they have a low rise and high rise elevator set but every elevator goes to the fitness center. Very efficient elevator system this hotel has! These elevators did get modernized multiple times but they are still awesome elevators.

Recorded on 8/4/23. This is a new elevator that takes you from the main terminal into the brand new Long Island Railroad terminal. This elevator has the cab design of the main elevators in the terminal. It is nice to see the contrast from the original terminal to the new terminal.

Recorded on 6/22/23. I finally got around to getting a 1080p ultra HD take of these elevators! According to William these are Canton elevators. These elevator have always ran fantastic and are well maintained. These are not the original elevators to this train station as these were installed in 2011 and replaced old Heights elevators. Unfortunately the person who filmed the old elevators is no longer on YouTube so we no longer have footage of those elevators.

During my time in Boston, I spent a great amount of time with William and metup with Boston Elevators and Aviation while I was up there. This is one of the elevators we rode together as a trio. This is a beautiful hotel! This elevator connects Prudential Center to the hotel. I decided to not ride the main elevators with William and Nick because I don't enjoy hitch hiking on elevators. Especially in expensive hotels like this one. Stay tuned to William or Nick's channel for a video of those elevators. Anyway, enjoy!

Recorded on 12/28/23. With a new job in 2023, I had a whole week off for Christmas break! So we made sure to do a little railfanning with the week off. We needed to do some shopping in the Newburgh area, so we took the opportunity to visit a new station that we have not been to before. New Hamburg! This is the second to last stop on the Metro North Railroad Hudson Line and it is a nice station located in the town of Wappingers Falls. Technically this is the Wappingers Falls Station just like Scarborough is technically the Briarcliff Manor Station and Philipse Manor technically being the Sleepy Hollow Station. You get all of the usual action here. Though I finally caught the Conrail Heritage Unit in this railfanning video. Enjoy!

Recorded on 5/4/24. Here is an unnarrated silent video of these elevators ten years later. I still strongly dislike how the interior windows were walled up when these elevators were modernized. The outside shaft is still scenic. These elevators are excellent since they are well-maintained. It's just the fact they spent the money to put in a scenic elevator and then wall it up for cheap maintenance that is disgusting about these elevators. I think it's a bad move for anyone who does this. Yet again, everything is going cheap these days, lol!

Recorded on 7/12/23. I stopped at this mall on my way home from Short Hills because why not despite this mall having boring elevators. However, this elevator is an exception. This is an old Haughton elevator that appears to have only received a slap on modernization. The motor is pretty cool too. I am not 100% sure if it is original or not. The big cab and dual door set up is neat too.

Recorded on 6/28/23. The old Regal Plaza Motel owners retired in 2021 and sold off this property to ICONA who turned it into the Mahalo Diamond Beach Hotel. This elevator modernization was expected with the remodeling of the hotel. This modernization is by no means bad! This is a very nice new elevator. However, they kept the original motor on this elevator and you can actually hear it better with the modernization so I call that a win! The new elevator is more smooth too. This a very nice new hotel and the staff is awesome here too. Enjoy!

Recorded on 6/26/23 and 6/27/23. Yes we made it to another Motel in Wildwood! While I enjoyed staying at the Commander by the Sea Motel in 2022, quite a few members of the group we go with every year did not enjoy that Motel unfortunately. This is a sister property to the Commander by the Sea Motel. This is an older Motel that was built in the late 40's. It's pretty well kept. Quite small but still good. Enjoy a tour of this Motel! The group liked this Motel better so this is where we are staying for the next set of years when we go to Wildwood.
