South Korea has an alert system that informs it's citizens about people infected with Coronavirus

In this article I look at a BBC article (linked below) that talks about the new alert system that they developed in South Korea. The aim of the system is to inform its citizens of individuals who have the virus, where they have been and other details to help people figure out if they may have possibly come in contact with infected individuals.

The articles talks about the system and how it is possible, in some cases, to connect that dots and figure out exactly who has the virus, even though the system was no designed for that. Is this an invasion of privacy or the cost of doing business in the current corona climate in which they reside there?
