Examining the transcript of the 911 call in the Ahmaud Arbery / Travis & Gregory McMichael Case

This is a short video where I take a look at the 911 call transcript, there were two calls that came in as the events leading up to the shooting. They aren't releasing the identities of the callers but it seems clear that the second call was made by the McMichaels'. My suspicion is that the first call was as well but I don't have evidence that.

In some ways, I feel like all of the events leading up to Arbery ducking behind the truck, to me, all of those events, while important and while they will be hashed out at trial, are pretty undeniable (legally) as to whether or not those were legal. What I mean to say is that this case and the events leading up to right about 10 seconds before it ended, a legal case can be made that those actions were valid, by the McMichael's. That is not to say it was ethically right or smart in any way, so, for me it comes down to, in those final seconds, who is seen as the aggressor, that is what the jury will have to grapple with.
