Originally released on The Lovin' Spoonful Do you Believe In Magic ℗ Originally released 1965 Kama Sutra Records. It also appears on the Lovin' Spoonfuls Greatest Hits.

Led by their primary songwriter John Sebastian, the Lovin' Spoonful took their earliest influences from jug band and blues music, reworking them into a popular music format. In 1965, the Lovin' Spoonful helped pioneer the development of the musical genre of folk rock.

Forrest became a fan of John Sebastian and the Lovin' Spoonful in 1965 when he was in High School. Playing their songs always made us feel good.

Jan 28, 2019 — Stephen F. McDonald, 64, of Barrington, Rhode Island died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019. He was the loving husband of Melissa A. McDonald.

I was playing in Memphis, TN when my sister Marcy called me and told me our brother Steve had passed away. Steve played in the band with us when we would tour New England. I spoke with him a week before I hit the road. He said write a song for me. This song is a tribute to Steve. This ones for you brother.

It was a beautiful 73 degree afternoon and my second day in a row getting some sunshine,
It always inspires me to just go off. If it seems like there are some parts where I may seem to be off you are probably right. I wrote the composition and worked out the parts as I kept playing.
