AstraZeneca is being sued by Brianne Dressen, who claims she was disabled by the company’s Covid-19 vaccine during a clinical trial and that the drugmaker has failed to live up to its contractual obligations to cover her medical costs.
In a complaint filed Monday, Brianne Dressen said she was “the picture of good health” when getting the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine in 2020 at the age of 39 through a Salt Lake County, Utah, clinical trial. In the hours that followed, her arm began to tingle and the feeling spread up to her shoulder, then to her opposite arm. Later, other symptoms followed, including blurred vision, a headache, ringing ears, and vomiting.
According to Dressen’s lawsuit, AstraZeneca had entered into a contract with her in which the drugmaker would cover medical costs for injuries suffered from the vaccine. Dressen said she discovered she had paresthesia, a condition in which nerves are irritated and the body experiences tingling and numb feelings.
A mother of two and formerly a pre-school teacher, she claimed in her lawsuit that some of her symptoms worsened and the condition spread to her legs. In 2021, National Institutes of Health neurologists diagnosed her with “post vaccine neuropathy.”
Dressen is the co-chair of React19, an interest group for people alleging injury from Covid-19 vaccines. Now, she’s suing AstraZeneca over medical expenses and more, arguing she’s still disabled and unable to work and carry on with many activities as she once had.

The elites - especially the rich - want you to believe that capitalism is not a zero sum game. This is the false hope that fuels the American dream.
The fact is that social mobility is lower in the USA than it is in socialist industrialized countries such as Scandinavia, France, and Germany.
Most wealth in the West is not made - but is inherited (Piketty). Ironically, new fortunes are generated in quasi-capitalistic places like China, Russia, and Vietnam or India.
Economy not zero sum game (growth pie all around, for consumers and producers), but capitalism is. Marx was right about this (and only this).
Like Communism, Fascism, or Socialism, Capitalism is a method to allocate resources, means of production, and surplus. Capitalism uses the price signal in a free market (as opposed to central planning).
Proof that is zero sum: taking from the rich to give to the poor (taxation as progressive distributive justice) and taking from the poor to give back to the rich (regressive inflation, taxation, and asset bubbles).
But why, in an environment of growth is the game zero sum? Because of scarcity. The rich cannot reinvest all their income and so it is taken out of circulation to the poor (though it is still available to the businesses of the rich via the banking system). Another reason: depletion of natural resources.
These shortages are camouflaged by fiat money, debt, and the symbolic economy. But these are Ponzi schemes and they crumble periodically in cycles of boom and bust.

A Utah mother says she was left with "no choice" but to sue a pharmaceutical company on the basis of a breached contract that promised to provide compensation for injuries caused by a clinical trial for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Brianne Dressen, a mother of two, enrolled in a clinical trial for AstraZeneca in November 2020, taking only one dose of the vaccine before her "life changed forever."
The mother suffered severe injuries after taking the vaccine. She shared her emotional story in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on how it had a "dramatic" change on her family's life, as well as her feeling abandoned by the pharmaceutical company as she juggles her mounting medical bills.
"I didn't want to do this," Dressen told Fox, adding that the drug company "left me no choice." Dressen said she has experienced "three and a half years of silence" from AstraZeneca, filing the lawsuit in an effort to bring attention to the issue.

We are becoming accustomed to unexpected death after COVID-19 among young persons who have taken one or more injections of the COVID-19 vaccine. It is important to realize that not all deaths after vaccination are cardiac.
A report from McMillan et al from the Department of Neurology, Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA, USA, raised awareness to fatal neurological events that are possible after vaccination.
“24 hrs after receiving her first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, a 30-year-old female developed severe headache. Three weeks later she was admitted with subacute headache and confusion. Imaging initially showed scattered cortical thrombosis with an elevated opening pressure on lumbar puncture. An external ventricular drain was placed, but she continued to have elevated intracranial pressure. Ultimately, she required a hemicraniectomy, but intractable cerebral edema resulted in her death. Pathology was consistent with thrombosis and associated inflammatory response.”
In a clinical trial, one Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reaction (SUSAR) such as this would have put a pause on the entire study and an investigation into why this happened and a call for risk mitigation measures to prevent the same complication from happening to more subjects. Ironically, this case reported at a Harvard hospital had no impact on Harvard University mandating vaccination from May 5, 2021, to March 5, 2024. The FAQ/consent form signed by some of the nations brightest students made no mention of fatal cerebral ischemia and thrombosis as a direct complication of COVID-19 vaccination. I wonder if the editors of Britannica will fairly record this paradoxical and dangerous time in university history.

Due to the large volume of infarction, the patient was not started on anticoagulation after extensive discussion of the risks vs potential benefit.
In summary, administration of COVID-19 vaccine was considered a possible cause of the extensive multifocal arterial thromboses with associated inflammatory response and elevated intracranial pressure given the temporal association.
The mechanism for initial elevation in intracranial pressure is not known but may relate to cerebral autoregulatory changes in the setting of cortical microvascular thrombosis.
Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reaction (SUSAR) such as this would have put a pause on the entire study and an investigation into why this happened and a call for risk mitigation measures to prevent the same complication from happening to more subjects.

This was a stunning interview, in the 2005 documentary We Feed the World, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, now former chairman and CEO of the Nestle Group, and former chairman of Formula One. He says, water is not a human right... He also says, organic food aren't good.
They didn't get around to asking him about slave labor being used to confiscate cocoa beans and other resources in Africa and other areas around the world for Nestle products.
He was the Chairman of one of the biggest corporations and the largest food product manufacturer in the world, believes corporations should own all the water on the planet, and no one should be allowed to have access to it unless they pay.
He also states that GMOs have never caused illnesses despite hundreds of independent studies showing otherwise. So, is water a free and basic human right, or should all the water on the planet belong to major corporations and the elite?
Should the poor who cannot afford to pay these said corporations suffer from starvation due to their lack of financial wealth?

The World Economic Forum just held a summit to discuss the banning of physical cash in favor of an all digital currency system.

Using cash to make anonymous purchases that are not monitored by the central bank’s invasive monitoring system will soon the reserved for VIP elites who hold licenses to use cash, if we allow Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum to roll out their carefully laid plans.
The WEF hosted a summit in Saudi Arabia to quietly share the details of their disturbing plans to completely ban cash in favor of a 100 percent digital system, while admitting the Covid pandemic was part of the plan to transition consumers away from cash and into the cold embrace of central banks.
During a WEF meeting in Saudi Arabia last week, the Central Bank Governor of Bahrain Khalid Humaidan said ordinary people cannot be trusted to spend their money how they see fit, and the elite must completely ban cash in the near future in favor of a fully digital solution.
Humaidan also casually boasted that the general public is going to accept the oligarch’s transition to a central bank digital currency or CBDC without a struggle.
Did you catch that? The central bank governor actually said that the people trust the central banks to do whatever they want with our money.
Disturbingly, according to Humaidan, the elites are not only planning to clamp down on cash for ordinary people, they are hellbent on eliminating it completely.
“At some point in time hopefully we’ll be able to be 100 percent digital,” he boasted.
Getting rid of cash will prohibit the anonymous transfer of funds, a premise already admitted by the banking sector.
Speaking at the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Summit in March 2023, European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde admitted that a CBDC will not be private or anonymous, but she tried to sweeten the deal by promising that cash won’t be banned completely.

The expert is not the first to warn that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. Scholars and states, including a case brought by South Africa and now Egypt, have warned that offensive acts carried out by Israel in their invasion for oil and gas resources in Palestine, have amounted to acts of genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip and now other areas in Palestine.
A United Nations-appointed expert has found that there are “reasonable grounds” to believe Israel is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, according to a report that was released. The expert said there are clear indications that Israel has violated three of the five acts listed under the UN Genocide Convention.
"It is my solemn duty to report on the worst of what humanity is capable of and to present my findings," Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in the Occupied Territories, told the UN Human Rights Council. The Italian lawyer is one of dozens of independent human rights experts mandated by the UN to report and advise on specific themes and crises.

Egypt intends to support South Africa’s case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel’s bombing campaign and ground invasion in Gaza, its foreign ministry announced on Sunday.
The decision is in response to the escalating Israeli aggression and scope of attacks against civilians in the Palestinian enclave, the ministry said in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Fighting between the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hamas, which has lasted more than eight months, was sparked by the Palestinian militant group’s surprise raid into Israeli territory on October 7, which killed approximately 1,200 people. Hamas also took over 200 hostages, some of whom were later released as part of prisoner exchanges.
According to local authorities, more than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of hostilities, which have spread to Rafah, Gaza’s southernmost city, where people fleeing the northern part of the enclave sought refuge.
Hamas declared last week that it had agreed to a cease-fire proposal by Egypt and Qatar calling for an initial halt to fighting followed by long-term peace and the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Palestinian territory. Israel, on the other hand, rejected the proposal and pledged to push ahead with its long-planned assault on Rafah, located on Egypt’s eastern border with Gaza, despite opposition from the US and a host of other countries.
On Sunday, Cairo accused the IDF of directly targeting civilians, destroying infrastructure, and forcing Palestinians to flee their homes.
“Egypt calls on Israel to comply with its obligations as the occupying power, and to implement the provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice, which require ensuring adequate access to humanitarian and relief aid to meet the needs of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and for Israeli forces not to commit any violations against the Palestinian people as a protected people,” the ministry stated.

Are the Covid-19 drugs produced by Pfizer and Moderna GMOs or genetically modified organisms? An Australian Federal Court case has evidence to say they are GMOs.

Dr. Julian Fidge v. Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd & Moderna Pty Ltd
Dr. Fidge is an Australian medical doctor and trained pharmacist. The case has been brought under the Australian Gene Technology Act 2000. Section 10 of Gene Technology Act defines what a Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is.
First, an Organism is: ‘any biological entity’ ‘capable of transferring genetic material.’ The Pfizer and Moderna Covid products contain LNP-modRNA complexes. These complexes satisfy being called ‘any biological entity’ under the law.
The modRNA is genetic material
The Lipid Nanoparticles or LNPs encapsulate the modRNA and together bio-distribute and transfer the LNP-modRNA complexes throughout the human body. The LNPs then transfect and transfer the modRNA cargo across cell membranes to deliver the modRNA inside cells. By moving the modRNA about the body and then into cells, the LNP-modRNA complexes physically transfer genetic material after injection.
So the Organism part of the GMO definition is satisfied by the physical mode of transport of the LNP-modRNA complexes. The next part of the GMO legal definition is – a Genetically Modified Organism is: an organism that has been modified by gene technology. The Gene Technology part requires showing: any technique for the modification of genes or other genetic material.
Pfizer and Moderna admit they modify genes to create modified RNA or modRNA for their products. The MHRA, EMA, FDA, and TGA when approving the Covid-19 products recognised Pfizer and Moderna use modified nucleosides for the modRNA.
In the TGA Australian approval for Pfizer for example, the TGA notes:
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, BNT162b2 mRNA (tradename Comirnaty), comprises a nucleoside-modified messenger RNA (modRNA) encoding the viral spike glycoprotein (S) of SARS-CoV-2. Pfizer and Moderna create their modified nucleosides in the lab using recombinant techniques.
So the Gene Technology part of the GMO legal definition is also satisfied. This means the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 products satisfy the Australian legal definitions for being properly called GMOs. Under the Australian Gene Technology Act anyone who ‘deals’ with a GMO in Australia must be regulated under a GMO license.
Pfizer and Moderna failed to apply for GMO licences in Australia. Dealing with GMOs in Australia without a GMO licence is a serious criminal offense under Section 32 of the Gene Technology Act 2000. In fact the boss of Australia’s Office of the Gene Technology Regulator, or OGTR, recently admitted to an Australian Senate Committee that both the Pfizer and Moderna products are GMOs.
No Australian was told by the OGTR or the TGA that they were being asked to receive Genetically Modified Organisms or GMOs when getting a Covid-19 injection. This is not just an Australian GMO legal issue. In the United Kingdom Genetically Modified Organisms are dealt with under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and specifically Section 106 under Part VI.
The United Kingdom legal definitions for what is regarded as a GMO is almost identical to the Australian legal definitions we just looked at. Like in Australia, the United Kingdom requires new GMOs to be subjected to an extensive Risk Assessment. Even after an extensive Risk Assessment the United Kingdom Secretary of State still has to provide a Consent before a GMO can be introduced into the United Kingdom.
The MHRA knew United Kingdom GMO legal definitions applied to Pfizer and Moderna because it is their job to know and they have GMO experts. But both Pfizer and Moderna applied for marketing approvals under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 which exempted them from having to undergo a GMO Risk Assessment for their Covid-19 products.
And because of that exemption neither company had to mention on the Product Information that their products contain GMOs even though they satisfy the legal definitions.
