Not helping that Aamu has mutton kibbles in her feeding bowl. She found where they are so she could get some fresh ones.
The trek this time is the yellow trail at Grönabur. One of the southernmost trails in the Sandsjöbacka Natural Reserve. This takes us to the heather moorland. Was quite a lot of walking on roads here, but the moor was great. Aamu met some sheeps and a squirrel (of course).
So far it has not been especially warm, so the spring was in its early phases.

What to do after a terrific walk down by the sea? Chew a nice stick in the forest. Aamu has her priorities straight.

Moments after speaking about finding a squirrel, Aamu does just that. This one seemed to be young and was actually afraid of Aamu, which they normally aren't. They usually keep on doing their business since Aamu hardly would climb up after them.
his walk was a traumatic one for Aamu. Daddy had done the unforgivable, forgotten to bring the treats. Luckily we had other diversion such as balls and squirrels in the forest. Not that Aamu ever missed pointing out the lack of treats.

Aamu having a ball fetching sticks in the ocean. Water temperature wasn't that high, and Aamu actually was a bit hesitant by that at first. But the lure of the sea is way to strong.
20230410-1 Aamu Moments
A wondrous trek in the beautiful Årekärr, a part of the Sandsjöbacka Nature Reserve. Went here for a reason, I suspected that the wood anemones where in full bloom. And yes, they were. The valleys where full of the white flowers. Aamu did not care much for that, but she got her fill of squirrels and duck. Everyone's happy.

Aamu finding one of the things that are better than a stick. A football. In the place where we usually play with sticks as well. Nothing could be better.

Aamu finds some Roe Deer and must tell daddy all about it. They do not want to make her aquaintance though and ran away.
No horses in the pen so Aamu decides to play with a stick. She is a little hesitant to horses, was licked in the face by one when she was a pup. Playing with sticks is one of her favourite pass times though.

Took a lovely spring walk in the local forest. Primarily it was to test equipment for our summer trip. Have had a wee bit of troubles with it lately and want to make sure we do not have that when it really counts. No squirrels nor roe deers and to make it worse, the football was gone. Aamu trodded along and enjoyed it though, even though daddy was babbling on and on about camera stuff (silenced that part).

Aamu finds the smallest stick on the cliff. But it is a stick, and with that comes responsabilities. Like me throwing it.
An eventful walk. Surprising a roe deer on the path and finding a working football to play with. Even if the rain came and shortened it, still a really funny one for Aamu. Just like she wants it.

Jumping into the cold lake once is not enough for Aamu. Every opportunity must be used so why not do some water stick fetching late in the walk to really make sure to be wet when jumping into the car.

Weather is getting warmer so we go for a walk in the local forests to see how far the spring has gotten. Aamu finally gets some squirrels to bark at and plenty of treats to chew on. All in all, a really good morning.

April Lakes are not especially warm. Aamu does not really care about that, she likes to swim all year around. Oxsjön is also a favourite since the trail goes right next to the lake and is very accessable for her.

Aamu gets a final stick fetch in the sea at the final beach in Ganlet harbour. Perfect day.
Taking a nice walk to Ganlet thinking Aamu would like some sea contact. Oh boy, was I right. Aamu got really excited and vocalized it constantly. Many swims later, she started to settle down close to home and decided to chew stick instead of walking. So, Aamu had a great time. And to be honest, so did I.

Trying to stall the inevitable end of the walk, Aamu finds the smallest of sticks to lie down and chew on. Just to pass some extra time.
A gray morning and I decided to walk in the neighborhood. There's a lot of small forests linked together so we can spend most of the walk weaving in and out of them, staying most of the time in forest. Aamu likes going to places she isn't that often and is happy when we do these kind of things.
