Graciously joined by @lanceslegion , I get his take on the forms and ideals the next government--the one to replace the dying one we currently have--ought to take. Broadly, Lance advocates for a strong, moral and virtuous ruler with absolute power to serve as the check and balance for the legislature and judiciary. Further, he advocates a return to less democratic form of governance wherein the franchise is restricted to veterans. We all, as Right-Wingers, Conservatives, and Heritage Americans should be ashamed and embarrassed that we have, time and again, allowed the United States to burn at the hands of Cultural Marxists and other Left-Wing agitators. We should be ashamed and embarrassed that we have allowed hordes of foreigners--invaders-- who care not for our society to pour across our Southern border unimpeded.
Our government is not only refusing to stop or even discourage this behavior; they are actively supporting and encouraging it!
But what is to be done? How can we stop this while operating in the confines of the law? Well, the solution is to become a modern-day Minuteman. Luckily, it isn't too late and we still are afforded some protection by the US Constitution for the time being. It seems to me that many on the Dissident Right today started out, like myself, as vociferous advocates for and defenders of Western hegemony. I, like most everyone on the DR, also eventually came to understand how far gone the West is.
The point of this chat is not to debate that point. Clearly the West has failed.
So, beyond laying down and becoming victims of circumstance and history, what should we do? Many on the Dissident Right either don’t consider much beyond the immediacy of “dunking and dabbing on the Libs”. We sit here and point out all the ways a certain subset of the population has undermined, corrupted, and destroyed the good that was Western society, but rarely is there anyone positing a real path forward.
Oh, there are some “solutions” put forward. Sometimes it usually involved running off to the hinterlands, kicking the can down the road for their progeny to deal with.
Sometimes it is waiting for some revolution to happen to them, wherein they will soundly defeat the enemy in close combat in a matter of weeks or months.
Sometimes both.In any case, many believe they will come out on top as a result of their actions, or lack thereof.
When questioned with what comes next many haven’t even considered it. In the minds of those who have, they mean to revert to some minor variation on the US government in some form or another–usually with some point in the 20th Century as what they consider as the ideal.
I am not unsympathetic to these views–far from it in fact. I do recognize that the American Republic was a great form of governance that allowed for the United States to expand West and become as great as it, at one point, was.
It isn’t any secret that the US specifically and the West in general have been subverted from the highest levels down. The rot of Progressivism has spread so far and corrupted so much that it is hard for many to envision a future in which Western society continues to operate and exists in its current form.
