“Before man could become male and female physically, his prototype, the creating Elohim, had to arrange his Form on this sexual plane astrally. That is to say, the atoms and the organic forces, descending into the plane of the given differentiation, had to be marshaled in the order intended by Nature, so as to be ever carrying out, in an immaculate way, that law which the Kabala calls the balance, through which everything that exists does so as male and female in its final perfection, in this present stage of materiality. Chochmah, Wisdom, the Male Sephiroth, had to diffuse itself in, and through, Binah, intelligent Nature, or Understanding. We have to go to the very source of historical information, if we would bring our best evidence to testify to the facts enunciated. For, though entirely allegorical, the Rig-Vedic hymns are none the less suggestive. The seven rays of Sûrya (the Sun) are made therein parallel to the Seven Worlds (of every planetary chain), to the seven rivers of heaven and earth, the former being the seven creative Hosts, and the latter the Seven men, or primitive human groups. The Seven ancient Rishis — the progenitors of all that lives and breathes on earth — are the seven friends of Agni, his seven “horses,” or seven “Heads.” The human race has sprung from fire and water, it is allegorically stated; fashioned by the Fathers, or the ancestor-sacrificers, from Agni; for Agni, the Aswins, the Adityas (Rig-Veda III., 54, 16, II., 29, 3, 4), are all synonymous with that “sacrificer,” or the fathers, variously called Pitar (Pitris, fathers), Angirases (1, 31, 17, 139, et seq.), the Sâdhyas, “divine sacrificers,” the most occult of all. They are all called deva putra rishayah or “the Sons of God” (X., 62 ; 1, 4). The “sacrificers,” moreover, are collectively the one sacrificer, the father of the gods, Visvakarman, who performed the great Sarva-Medha ceremony, and ended by sacrificing himself. (See Rig-Vedic Hymns.) When geology shall have found out how many thousands of years ago the disturbed waters of the Indian Ocean reached the highest plateaux of Central Asia, when the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf made one with it, then only will they know the age of the Aryan Brahminical nation, and the time of its descent into the plains of Hindostan, which it did millenniums later. Yima, the so-called “first man” in the Vendidad, as much as his twin-brother Yama, the Son of Vaivasvata Manu, belongs to two epochs of the Universal History. He is the “Progenitor” of the Second human Race, hence the personification of the shadows of the Pitris, and the father of the postdiluvian Humanity. The Magi said: “Yima,” as we say “man” when speaking of mankind. The “fair Yima,” the first mortal who converses with Ahura Mazda, is the first “man” who dies or disappears, not the first who is born. The “Son of Vixanghat,” was, like the Son of Vaivasvata, the symbolical man, who stood in esotericism as the representative of the first three races and the collective Progenitor thereof. Of these races the first two never died but only vanished, absorbed in their progeny, and the third knew death only towards its close, after the separation of the sexes and its “Fall” into generation. Chakshuba was the Manu of the sixth period (Third Round and Third Race), in which Indra was Manojava (Mantradruma in the Bhagavata Purâna). As there is a perfect analogy between the “great Round” (Mahakalpa), each of the seven Rounds, and each of the seven great Races in every one of the Rounds — therefore, Indra of the sixth period, or Third Round, corresponds to the close of the Third Race (at the time of the Fall or the separation of sexes.) Rudra, as the father of the Maruts, has many points of contact with Indra, the Marutwân, or “lord of the Maruts.” To receive a name Rudra is said to have wept for it. Brahmâ called him Rudra; but he wept seven times more and so obtained seven other names — of which he uses one during each “period. This inclusion of the First Race in the Secondary is necessarily only a provisional working-hypothesis — the actual chronology of the First, Second, and Early Third Races being closely veiled by the Initiates. For all that can be said on the subject, the First Root-Race may have been Pre-Secondary, as is, indeed, taught. (Vide supra.) The above parallels stand good only if Professor Croll’s earlier calculations are adopted, namely, of 15,000,000 years since the beginning of the Eocene period (see Charles Gould’s “Mythical Monsters,” p. 84), not those in his “Climate and Time,” which allow only 21 2 million years’, or a the utmost three million years’ duration to the Tertiary age. This, however, would make the whole duration of the incrusted age of the world only 131,600,000 years according to Professor Winchell, whereas in the Esoteric doctrine, sedimentation began in this Round approximately over 320 million years ago.

"During the Age of Pisces, the Fish was the symbol of divinity and the Sun God fed the multitude with two small fishes."
— Manly P. Hall - The Secret Teachings of All Ages

"The age of Pisces that ends on the 4th of February, 1962, was the age of dogmatic Christianity struggling against atheist materialism. If we observe the sign of Pisces, we see two fish, duality, the struggle between two opposing ideologies: spiritualism and materialism in total battle, the church and the state at war, science and religion in conflict. The fish that lives under the waters and is carried by the currents is instinctive and brutal, like the people of the Piscean age. The man of that era does not know how to handle nor transmute the waters of life, in other words, the seminal liquor." — Samael Aun Weor - Christ and the Virgin

Pisces Rules: The Feet.

Metal: Platinum and Tin.

Stone: Amethyst.

Perfume: Thyme.

Plant: Century Plant (maguey) and False Plantain.

Flower: Violet.

Planet: Neptune.

Color: Violet.

Element: Water.

Keyword: Dignity.

Day: Thursday.

Ruler: Rasamosa and Uacabiel.

Now, we have arrived at Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, governed by Neptune and Jupiter.

I have prepared this course with a single objective: that you may gain the limitless happiness of Nirvana.

Nirvana is the valley of profound silence and of “non-being,” but in reality, our “true Being” is in Nirvana because there we live in a form so different from our present state of comprehension that it transcends our ordinary senses, and that is why we call it “non-being,” while in fact our “real Being” is in Nirvana.

"The Age of Pisces should not have been a failure as it really was. The causa causorum of the Piscean failure was due to certain tenebrous elements who betrayed Gnosis and preached certain Agnostic or Anti-Gnostic Doctrines, underestimating the Fish, discarding the religious wisdom and sinking humanity into materialism."
— Samael Aun Weor - The Esoteric Treatise of Hermetic Astrology

“Pisceans are of a will that is stronger than steel. Pisceans are intuitive and profoundly sentimental. All Pisceans have to go through two homes or two marriages during the course of their lives. Pisceans are extremely sensitive and everything impresses them easily. At times, the natives of Pisces are profoundly melancholic. Although they live in everything, the natives of Pisces are separated from all the vanities of the world. The Piscean has a tendency to have two jobs, two different dispositions. From within the sea of Pisces comes forth the Star of the Magicians. From the sea of Pisces come forth all the Messiahs. All the events of the life of the Piscean repeat themselves. The good is repeated for them, as well as the bad. When good luck comes to them, it comes from all sides, and when bad luck comes, it too comes from all sides.”

"Aquarius is called the Sign of the Water Bearer, or the man with a jug of water on his shoulder mentioned in the New Testament. This is sometimes shown as an angelic figure, supposedly androgynous, either pouring water from an urn or carrying the vessel upon its shoulder. Among Oriental peoples, a water vessel alone is often used."
― Manly P. Hall - The Secret Teachings of All Ages (1928)

The Egyptian god Hapi, the god of the Nile, was shown carrying a tray of food or pouring water from urns or two large jugs, and is often identified with Aquarius.

The same icon, the same image, is visible in the Fourteenth Arcanum of the Tarot, which we call Temperance. This symbol contains within itself the mystical science, the precise understanding, of alchemy.

Transcendental Axiom: “Thou shalt not be as straw before the wind; neither shalt thou be as the wind before the straw.”

If we analyze the word Aquarius, we find in it elemental attributes that relate directly to this science of alchemy. The first part is obviously "Aqua," which of course is water, from Latin, and then we have "Arius" or air.

Aquarius as a sign is related to the basic elements of water and air: but air is the main element. Each of the Zodiacal signs is related to an element, and the core element of each sign provides the foundation of the way that constellation or Zodiacal sign can influence the psyche.

Air is related to the mind, related to the eagle, to the mind that can reach lofty heights. The air, the mind, is related to thought, to intellect, and to Buddhi, the spiritual soul.

The occult significance of Aquarius is knowledge. Aquarius, the sign of the water bearer, is an eminently revolutionary sign.
There are four types of knowledge or secret science.

We need to know what these four types of knowledge are:

Yajna-Vidya, knowledge that is acquired by means of certain occult powers awakened within our own inner nature, through certain magical rituals.

Kabbalistic Maha-Vidya, the science of the Kabbalah with all its invocations, mathematical symbols, and liturgy, which can be angelic or diabolic depending on the type of person using it.

Gupta-Vidya, the science of mantras, the magic of the word; it is based on the mystical powers of sounds, on the science of harmony.

Atma-Vidya or real wisdom of the Being, Atman, the Superior Monad.

These forms of knowledge (except for the fourth type) are the root of all occult sciences. From all these forms of knowledge (except the fourth) come Kabbalah, chiromancy, astrology, occult physiology, scientific cartomancy, etc.

From all those forms of knowledge, from all those occult branches, science has already discovered a few secrets, but the developed spatial sense is not hypnotism, and neither can it be acquired through those arts.

The path of the revolution of consciousness is the path of the razor’s edge.

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Saturn and related to the element earth.

Christ is born on the 24th of December, at midnight, in the zodiacal sign of Capricorn.

Who rules the sign of Capricorn? Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is related with Saturday. Saturday is related with Shabbat, the holy Shabbat, the Sabbath. When we kabbalistically study the planets that rule the Zodiacal signs, we just discover that Binah, the Holy Spirit, the 3rd Sephirah of the Tree of Life, is ruled by Saturn. The Gospels state that the Father of Christ is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in Sanskrit is Shiva; in Christianity, it is the white dove. It is intriguing to see how the planet Saturn relates to Christmas.

What is the tree that is governed by Saturn? The pine tree. This is why we find that the Christmas tree is always related with the pine. The pine, according to Master Samael Aun Weor, relates to the mind. Saturn is the mind. Saturn is called “the Ancient of Days”; it is the Theomertmalogos. Saturn rules Capricorn, the sign of the goat. Saturn is also known as Chronos, in Greek mythology. So, we see how the goat, the symbol of fire, relates to the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Our physicality is known in esotericism as the “earth.” Of course, Saturn is in heaven, and in the earth, that is why it is written:

ברא-תיש ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ

“Bara-Taish Bara Elohim Ath HaShamayim VeAth HaAretz ”

The creative fire (goat) created Elohim (את-Ath - the Shekinah) in heaven and (את-Ath - the Shekinah) in earth.

“In her shrine Vesta tends your fires, Capricorn: and from her you derive your skills and callings. For whatever needs fire to function and demands a renewal of flame for its work must be counted as of your domain. To pry for hidden metals, to smelt out riches deposited in the veins of the earth, to fold sure-handed the malleable mass — these skills will come from you, as will aught which is fashioned of silver or gold. That hot furnaces melt iron and bronze, and ovens give to the wheat its final form, will come as gifts from you. You also give a fondness for clothes and wares which dispel the cold, since your lot falls for all time in winter’s season, wherein you shorten the nights you have brought to their greatest length and give birth to a new year by enlarging the daylight hours. Hence comes a restless quality in their lives and a mind which is often changed and floats this way and that; the first half of the sign is the slave of Venus, and that with guilt involved, but a more virtuous old age is promised by the conjoined fish below.”
― Astronomica, Manilius - Book 4 - Page 241 (1st Century AD)

Vesta (Roman name; known in Greek as Hestia) Hestia is the gentle, virgin goddess of the hearth-fire (both private & municipal), the home and family. She voluntarily relinquished her position as one of the twelve Olympians in place of Dionysos. As recompense she was made goddess of the sacrificial flame and granted a portion of all sacrifices to the gods. She is clearly a symbol of the Divine Mother Kundalini, the root fire of all that exists. She was highly honored in every household from early times to the beginning of Christianity, when her worship was outlawed. Her public cult maintained a sacred building in which her priestesses, the vestal virgins, tended the communal hearth and fire, which was never allowed to die out.

"To Hestia, fumigation from Aromatics. Daughter of Kronos, venerable dame, who dwellest amidst great fire’s eternal flame; in sacred rites these ministers are thine, mystics much blessed, holy and divine. In thee the Gods have fixed their dwelling place, strong, stable basis of the mortal race. Eternal, much formed, ever florid queen, laughing and blessed, and of lovely mien; accept these rites, accord each just desire, and gentle health and needful good inspire.”
― Orphic Hymn 84 to Hestia

The ninth sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Jupiter and related to the sign of fire.

The ninth zodiacal sign is Sagittarius and the image or the symbol utilized to represent the zodiacal influence of Sagittarius is a centaur. A centaur is an ancient symbol from Greek mythology and beyond, which depicts a creature that has a torso of a man, and from the waist down he is a horse. This symbol represents a profound understanding of the nature of the path to the self-realization of the Being. It is vital for students of the path to understand the nature of self, and to do so we have to understand and remember the symbol of the centaur.

Sagittarius is related to the planet Jupiter. Jupiter is the king, the one who provides the majesty, rulership. When we are working with the forces of Sagittarius, really we are working in the house of Jupiter. The sign of Sagittarius has a particular influence related to clairvoyance and the capacity to perceive that which is beyond the physical. This is why it is so important for us to develop discrimination when observing ourselves.

An arrow is a pointed projectile that is shot with a bow and penetrates a distant target. Sagitta is the constellation of the arrow, and Sagittarius is the constellation of the bow or Archer. The constellation of Aquila separates these two constellations. The English word arrow (constellation Sagitta) is confounded with the archer (Sagittarius) and cognate with Latin arcus, ‘bow, arch’. The English word Sagitta, arrow, is also confounded with the word Sagittarius, the archer, or ‘arrow shooter’.

“The arrow (sagitta) is named for its ‘keen striking’ (sagaxictus), that is, its swift striking.”
― The Etymologies of Isidore of Seville (7th century AD)

“The natives of Sagittarius are extremely passionate. The natives of Sagittarius become angry easily and forgive easily. The natives of Sagittarius are magnanimous and generous. The natives of Sagittarius always love adventures and operate inns; everything that is grandiose and gigantic attracts them. The natives of Sagittarius are tenacious and contenders; when people think that they have overcome them, they reappear on the battlefield of life, full of courage and valor. The natives of Sagittarius have a great disposition for philosophy.”
― Samael Aun Weor - The Manual of Practical Magic

The Master said: "I have transmitted what was taught to me without making up anything of my own. I have been faithful to and loved the Ancients."
— Confucianism - Analects 7.1

There is a root from which all knowledge has emerged. Humanity has many names for it; we call it Gnosis.

Gnosis (-g·no·sis): From Greek γνῶσις. Knowledge.

The higher meaning of Gnosis is knowledge from experience, especially experience of divinity or that which is beyond the five senses. The word Gnosis does not refer to knowledge that we are told or believe in. Gnosis is conscious, experiential knowledge, not merely intellectual or conceptual knowledge, belief, or theory. This term is synonymous with the Hebrew דעת "da'ath," the Arabic ma'rifah, the Tibetan rigpa (knowing), and the Sanskrit "jna."

Gnosis can also refer to the tradition that embodies the core wisdom or knowledge of humanity, although in the physical world it has not been known by that name, but instead has adopted varying appearances according to culture, time, and place.

The Greek word Gnosis (γνῶσις) implies a type of knowledge that is derived from experience, and encompasses the whole of a person. That is, it is genuine knowledge of the truth. Reality, truth, does not fit neatly into a concept, dogma, or theory, thus genuine Gnosis must also be something that one must experience. Personal experience is not transmissible in conceptual terms; a concept is merely an idea, and experience is far more than an idea.

In other words, real Gnosis is an experience that defies conceptualization, belief, or any attempt to convey it. To understand it, one must experience it. This is why real spirituality is based on one's own effort to experience the truth, and the method to reach that experience is primarily practical.

Nonetheless, in order to understand what we experience, we must study the experiences of others. For this, we prefer to rely on those who have proven the qualities we wish to embody ourselves: profound love for all beings, brilliant intelligence, and radiant joy. As such, we rely on the greatest human beings and their legacies, in every field of understanding: philosophy, science, art, and religion.

"Truth is one; sages call it by various names — Ekam Sat Viprah Bahudha Vadanti."
— Rig Veda

The Greek word Gnosis refers to the knowledge acquired through the experience of the awakened consciousness, as opposed to knowledge that we are told or might believe. Genuine Gnosis is the knowledge universal to all humanity that frees the consciousness from suffering. Gnosis - by whatever name in history or culture - is conscious, experiential knowledge, not merely intellectual or conceptual knowledge, belief or theory. The Gnostic student seeks to acquire their own direct experience of the light (the Truth) by means of awakening the consciousness and eliminating obscurations to perception.

The method to accomplish this task has been called:

Gnosis (Greek) knowledge.

Jnana (Sanskrit): knowledge.

Daath (Hebrew): knowledge.

Dharma (Sanskrit): righteousness, law, truth, teaching.

Torah (Hebrew): teaching, instruction, law.

And many other names. By comparing all of these ancient teachings, we can see that all religious forms have in their heart a science of Gnosis: a method to arrive at personal knowledge of the Truth.

“Howsoever men approach Me, even so do I welcome them, for the path men take from every side is Mine.”
— Krishna (Christ), from the Bhagavad-gita

Scorpio is the house of Mars and Pluto, the visitor.

Pluto is a visitor because this terrific Genie (Logos) of practical magic and does not belong to this solar system. He is merely a visitor who is helping all the warriors of the rocky path.

Scorpio, the eighth sign of the zodiac, is generally regarded as the most evil potency in the Circle of the Holy Animals. As ruler of the house of death, the ancients assigned to it three creatures to signify the triune phases of its nature.

Metal: Magnet.

Stone: Topaz.

Perfume: Coral.

Plant: The Oak Tree.

Flower: Chrysanthemum.

Planet: Mars.

Color: Red.

Element: Water.

Keyword: Action.

Day: Tuesday.

Ruler: Samael.

Rules: The Sexual Organs (Yesod)

The zodiacal house of Scorpio is ruled by Samael and by Pluto (Hades), the lord of practical magic. Scorpio is the sign that rules the sexual organs; it discloses Daath, the marvelous Tree of Knowledge, since Daath is directly related with the ninth sphere of the Tree of Life, Yesod (foundation).

"The word Scorpio comes from Latin scorpio, from Greek skorpios, “which is probably ultimately connected with Hebrew ‘aqribh (or akrabh), ‘scorpion.'”
— Klein

Akrabh or acrab (a-crab), is the Hebrew word for scorpion. That scorpions were engendered from crabs was a belief in classical times.

Ovids Metamorphoses wrote:

“If you remove the hollow claws of land-crabs, and put the rest under the soil, a scorpion, with its curved and threatening tail, will emerge from the parts interred.”

The Hebrew name Samael means both "medicine of God" and "poison of God." This duality is clear in sex: it can create or destroy. It depends upon how we use it. If we use our willpower intelligently, we can convert our sexual power into spiritual power. Sexual purity is the basis of spiritual power. Thus, Scorpio is a peak time to transmute the sexual energy, and Samael is the angel who helps us accomplish it.

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

It is necessary to be born of water and the spirit in order to be able to enter the kingdom of esotericism, the magis regnum. It is urgent to be born again in order to have the full right to enter the kingdom. It is urgent to become Twice-born.

Nicodemus was wise, he knew the holy scriptures profoundly and yet, he did not understand and said:

"How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?"

Jesus, the great Kabir then gave Nicodemus a Mayan type of answer:

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

For the Mayans, the Spirit is living fire and they say:

"We must unite what is above with what is below, by means of the water and fire."

Hindu Brahmins symbolize the Second Birth sexually. In their liturgy, a large golden cow is constructed and the candidate for the Second Birth has to pass through the hollow body of the cow three times, by dragging himself, exiting through the vulva, and thus he becomes consecrated as a true Brahman-Dvija, or Twice-born: once of his mother and second by the cow.

It is in this manner that the Brahmins symbolically explain the Second Birth taught by Jesus to Nicodemus.

“Scorpio rules the sexual organs and the redemption of man is in the sexual organs. The natives of Scorpio possess tremendous magical powers. The natives of Scorpio are irritable, rancorous, and vindictive. However, by dominating anger, vengeance, and rancor, the natives of Scorpio can transform themselves into powerful and wonderful White Magicians. Scorpios are either completely chaste or complete fornicators. The natives of Scorpio have tremendous will.”

"For this cause, therefore, I have not hidden it, but I have cried it aloud clearly. And I have not separated the sinners, but I have cried it aloud and said it unto all men, unto sinners and righteous, saying: 'Seek that ye may find, knock that it may be opened unto you; for every one who seeketh in truth, will find, and who knocketh, to him it will be opened.' For I have said unto all men: They are to seek the mysteries of the Light-kingdom which shall purify them and make them refined and lead them into the Light."

The Dialogue of the Saviour is one of the New Testament apocrypha texts that was found within the Nag Hammadi library of predominantly Gnostic texts. The text appears only once in a single Coptic codex and is heavily damaged. The surviving portions indicate that the general content is a dialogue with Jesus, in a similar manner to, and possibly based on, the Gospel of Thomas.

“Balance against each other its exact opposite! For the Marriage of these is the Annihilation of Illusion.”
― The Book of Thoth - Page 256

Now we enter into the equilibrating sign of Libra. This sign is in the house of Saturn and Venus.

The planets of the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn live and throb within “our” consciousness.

The soul develops and unfolds within this solar system that lives in the very depths of our consciousness.

Between death and new birth, the “good souls” must develop within each one of the planetary auras whose mixtures form that which all books of spiritualism denominate as “planes.”

Libra is the sign of the balance. The symbol of Libra is a set of scales. It is interesting to note that of all of the symbols of the astrological signs, the only one that is mechanical, that is a device, that is not a living thing, are the scales of Libra.

Libra influences the kidneys.

Libra is the sign of the equilibrating forces, and the forces of our human organism must totally balance in our kidneys.

All the forces of the universe continually seek equilibrium; we must learn the equilibrium of all things.

You must not mix antagonistic forces because terribly destructive forces are the outcome of such a mixture. Look carefully at those who surround you, and do not live in a house with people full of hatred, or superficiality, because the mixture of antagonistic forces creates destructive forces for you, and for those who live with you. Learn, therefore, the force of equilibrium.

The Bhagavad Gita states:

"When the mind is led by the wandering of the senses, then it carries away the soul, like the wind a ship on the water."

The Sutta Nipata teaches:

"Kill sensation. See equally pleasure and pain, profit and loss, victory and defeat."

Upon creating the intransigent dogma of evolution, the decrepit Western mind totally forgot the destructive processes of Nature. It is interesting that the degenerated mind cannot conceive the inverse, devolving process on a large scale.

The mind, in a state of decrepitude, confuses a fall with a descent; and the process of destruction, dissolution on a large scale, degeneration, etc., it classifies as change, progress, evolution.

Everything evolves and devolves, ascends and descends, comes and goes, fluxes and refluxes; a systole and diastole exist in everything, according to the law of the pendulum.

Evolution and its twin sister devolution are two laws that are developed and processed in a coordinated and harmonious manner in everything created.

Evolution and devolution constitute the mechanical axis of Nature.

Evolution and devolution are two mechanical laws of Nature which have nothing to do with the Self-realization of the human being.

The realization of the Innermost Self of the human being can never be the product of any mechanical law, but rather the result of a conscious work carried out upon and within oneself, on the basis of tremendous super-efforts, in-depth comprehension, and intentional voluntary sufferings.

Everything returns to the point of departure and the lunar ego returns, after death, to a new womb.

It is written that every human being is assigned one hundred and eight lives to become Self-realized. Time is running out for many people. Whosoever does not attain Self-realization within his allotted time ceases to be born, and enters the Infernal Worlds.

In support of the law of devolution or retrogression, comes the Bhagavad-Gita, saying:

"They, the evil, cruel and ungrateful, I cast them perpetually into the Asuric (demonic) wombs, in order for them to be born in these worlds (Infernal Worlds). Oh, son of Kunti, those hallucinated people enter to the demonic wombs again and again and continue falling into increasingly inferior bodies (devolution). Triple is the door of that destructive inferno; it is made up of lust, anger and covetousness; that is why these must be abandoned."
― Bhagavad Gita 16

"The truth is not a matter of beliefs, sophisms, concepts, opinions. The truth can only be known through direct experience. The experience of the truth is impossible as long as the mind is disturbed, convoluted, distressed by opposed opinions. The experience of the truth is only possible when the mind is quiet, when the mind is silent."
― Samael Aun Weor

The sixth sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Mercury and related to the element of earth.

“Virgo is the sign of the Celestial Virgin. Virgo is the virginal womb of Divine Nature.”
― Samael Aun Weor - The Manual of Practical Magic

Everything is born from the Prakriti; everything returns to the Prakriti. She is the Great Mother.

In the sacred land of the Vedas, Devaki, the Hindu virgin, conceived Krishna, and in Bethlehem, the Virgin Mary conceived Jesus.

In China, on the banks of the Fu-Ji river, the virgin 姜嫄 Jiang Yuan steps on the footprint of the Great Man, covered by a marvelous brilliance, and her womb conceives 后稷 Hou Ji, the Chinese Christ, by the deed and grace of the Holy Spirit.

A basic condition for the Second Birth is for the Third Logos, the Holy Spirit, to first intervene, fecundating the virginal womb of the Divine Mother.

In Hindustan, the sexual fire of the Third Logos is known under the name of Kundalini, and is symbolized by a serpent of burning fire.

The Divine Mother is Isis, Tonantzin, Kali, or Parvati, the wife of Shiva, the Third Logos, and her most powerful symbol is the sacred cow.

The Bhagavad-Gita states:

"The Great Prakriti is my womb; in that I place the seed; thence, oh Bharata, is the birth of all beings!"

"Whatever forms are produced, oh Kountreya, in any womb whatsoever, the Prakriti is their womb and I am the seed-giving father."

"Sattva, Rajas and Tamas these three Gunas (aspects or qualities) born of the Prakriti, oh mighty-armed one, bind fast the embodied to the body."

"Of these Gunas, Sattva which from its stainlessness is luminous and good, binds by attachment to happiness and by attachment to knowledge, oh, impeccable one."

"Know thou, oh, Kountreya, that Rajas is of the nature of passion, the source of desire and attachment; this Guna binds fast the embodied being to action."

"But know thou, oh, Bharata, that Guna Tamas is born of ignorance, deluding all embodied beings; it binds fast the embodied being, by heedlessness, laziness, and sleep. [asleep consciousness, the sleep of consciousness]."

Dante Alighieri wrote in The Divine Comedy in Paradise, canto 33:

"Virgin Mother, daughter of you Son, more humble and sublime than any creature, fixed goal decreed from all eternity, You are the one who gave to human nature so much nobility that its creator did not disdain His Being made its creature that love whose warmth allowed this flower to bloom within the everlasting peace was love rekindled in your womb. For as above you are the noonday torch of clarity, and there below on earth among the mortals. You are a living spring of hope. Lady you are so high, you can intercede. But he who will have raised but does not seek your aid may long to fly but has no wings. Your loving kindness does not only answer the one who asks. But it is often ready to answer freely, long before the asking. In your compassion is, in you is pity, in you is generosity. In you is every goodness found in any creature. This man who, from the deepest hollow in the universe, up to this height, has seen the lights of spirits one by one. Now, please with you, through grace, to grant him so much virtue that he may lift his vision higher still, may lift it toward the ultimate salvation, and I who never burned for my own vision. More than I burn from this do offer you all my prayers and pray that they may not fall short that with your prayers you may disperse all of the clouds of his mortality so that the highest joy be his to see this too, oh Queen, who can do what you would, I ask of you that after such a vision, his sentiments preserve their perseverance. May your protection curb his mortal passions."

In the Secret Teachings of All Ages, Manly P. Hall shows how the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a parallel to Astraea rise into the Heavens; “and she flew away to the stars.”

Concerning the Catholic Feast of the Assumption and its parallel in astronomy, Manly P. Hall quotes:

“At the end of eight months, when the sun-god, having increased, traverses the eighth sign, he absorbs the celestial Virgin in his fiery course, and she disappears in the midst of the luminous rays…. This phenomenon, which takes place every year about the middle of August… The Roman calendar of Columella marks the death or disappearance of Virgo at this period. This is where the Catholics place the Feast of the Assumption, or the reunion of the Virgin to her Son, formerly called the feast of the Passage of the Virgin. The ancient Greeks and Romans fix the assumption of Astraea, who is also this same Virgin, on that day.'”

“In Egypt Virgo was drawn on the zodiacs of Denderah and Thebes which Eratosthenes and Avienus identified with Isis, the thousand-named goddess, with the wheat ears in her hand that she afterwards dropped to form the Milky Way”
― Allen - Star Names

"I am of the nature pervading every moment, so whatever actions are performed at any moment are all equal to taking My vows and festivals."

God does not have any form.

God is co-essential to the abstract absolute space.

God is that... that... that.

God has two aspects, wisdom and love.

As wisdom, God is the Father; as love, God is the Mother.

God as Father resides in the eye of wisdom.

• This eye is situated between the eyebrows.

• God as Mother resides in the temple of the heart.

Wisdom and love are the two principal columns of the great White Lodge.

The Divine Mother or Goddess is the power of nature (prakriti) — existence, energy, creativity, destruction, and more — symbolized in a human-like form.

The Divine Mother is the formless, ultimate root of existence, who can take form in order to aid beings.

In Egypt she was Isis, the Divine Mother, whose veil no mortal has lifted.

She is Marah, RAM-IO, MARY.

Clearly, it was taught only in secret to the Initiates that this Divine Mother exists individually within each human being.

"Stated explicitly, each of us has our own particular, individual Divine Mother."
― Samael Aun Weor - The Great Rebellion

"We must search for the Divine Mother within our heart temple. The cross of initiation is received within the temple of the heart."
— Samael Aun Weor

“Strengthen your soul against the stalking of your ‘I;’ make her worthy to bear the name of “Diamond Soul.”
— H.P. Blavatsky

The Buddhic Body is the Diamond Soul of the Innermost. The Buddhic Body is the superlative and ennobling consciousness of our Being.

The Buddhic Body is the Spiritual Soul of the Being. Thus, when the Innermost is fused with his Spiritual Soul, the Heavenly Man, the Master, is born.

The Buddhic Body or Spiritual Soul has his diocese within the heart. Thus, the heart temple is the diocese of what is most dignified and decent within our Being.

The fires of the heart control the Kundalini. The Kundalini (the fire of the Holy Spirit) rises under the control of the fires of the heart. The ascent of the Kundalini depends upon the merits of the heart. The path of the heart is the path of the Innermost. Therefore, the path of the heart opens up for us only with sanctity.

We receive the cross of the Initiation within the heart temple. We live the Golgotha within the heart temple. The infinite universe is a system of hearts. Therefore, the path of sanctity is the path of the heart.

The Diamond Soul or Buddhic Body must receive the five stigmata and be totally Christified in order to fuse itself with the Innermost.

In the past, while on the path of learning, Vajrasattva made the following aspiration:

"In future, when I reach complete and perfect buddhahood, may those who have committed the five crimes with immediate retribution(killing one's father, one's mother, an arhat, maliciously drawing blood from the body of a tathagata and creating a schism(Split) in the sangha) or anyone whose samaya commitments have been impaired, be purified entirely of all their harmful actions and impairments merely by hearing my name, thinking of me, or reciting the hundred syllables, the most majestic of all the secret mantras! Until this is brought about may I remain without awakening! And, may I be present before all those with impairments and breakages of samaya commitments and may I purify all their obscurations!"

The Gnostic medic must follow the path of sanctity in order to Self-realize himself in depth.

"The Buddhic Body is the Diamond Soul of the Innermost. The Buddhic Body is the superlative and ennobling consciousness of our Being. The Buddhic Body is the Spiritual Soul of the Being... The beautiful Sulamite (Diamond Soul) is betrothed with Solomon (the Innermost) when one achieves the High Initiation."
— Samael Aun Weor - Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic

"The Diamond Soul is the Buddhic or intuitional body, it is the body of the spirit of life, it is the “soul-spirit;” it is Buddha, the superlative Consciousness of the Being..."

Jesus said: "Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man."

"The point of this seems to be that a lion, if eaten by a man, is ennobled by rising in the scale of being, whereas a man, if eaten by a lion, is degraded to a lower status than was originally his and may even risk missing the goal of immortality. It is not that we become what we eat but that what we eat becomes part of us (as in Walter de la Mare's poem 'Little Miss T').

"This saying may ultimately be based upon statements in Plato, for instance his comparison (in Republic 588E-589B) of the soul to a being of three parts: a many-headed beast, a lion, and a human being. Plato recommends that the human part of the soul (that is, reason) tame and nourish the leonine part (that is, the passion of the heart)."
― The Gospel of Thomas: The Hidden Sayings of Jesus - Pages 71-72

Jean Doresse writes:

"No doubt the lion here represents human passions, or more precisely, the lying spirit of evil. This is suggested by a passage from a Coptic Manichaean Psalm (CCLVII): 'This lion which is within me, which defiles me at every moment, I have strangled it and cast it out of my soul. . . .'"
― The Secret Books of the Egyptian Gnostics - Page 371

"Therefore, by eating the dead lion, which may be the hostile world (1 Peter 5:8: 'Your adversary the devil, like a raging lion'), you can overcome the world by assimilating it to yourself. If the true inner man is consumed by the lion, and the lion becomes the man, the world has overcome the Gnostic (Clement, Excerpta ex Theodoto)."
― The Secret Sayings of Jesus - Page 126

Believing the lion to be passions (good and evil passions) blessed is a righteous passion and a man eats (feeds) and that man becomes the passion. Cursed is the man who allows his passions or desires to consume him for he is now driven by them. The soul's struggle between selfishness and righteousness. Conquer your ego (the lion or animal instincts) through feeding the real you (the Soul or Spirit).

Feeding the Soul is done by meditation. If you indulge your animal passions then they will dominate your Soul (Consciousness)and you will have to reincarnate to try again. The lion may be a symbol of evil things or the evil in the world and if your faith is weak that evil can devour you and then you become the evil.

"When all the desires that surge in the heart are renounced, the mortal becomes immortal. When all the knots that strangle the heart are loosened, the mortal becomes immortal, here in this very life."
― Hinduism - Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 4.4.6-7

"Through the abandonment of desire the Deathless state is realized."
― Buddhism - Samyutta Nikaya xlvii.37

"Krishna (Christ): They live in wisdom who see themselves in all and all in them, who have renounced every selfish desire and sense craving tormenting the heart.Neither agitated by grief nor hankering after pleasure, they live free from lust and fear and anger. Established in meditation, they are truly wise. Fettered no more by selfish attachments, they are neither elated by good fortune nor depressed by bad. Such are the seers. Even as a tortoise draws in its limbs, the wise can draw in their senses at will. Aspirants abstain from sense pleasures, but they still crave for them. These cravings all disappear when they see the highest goal. Even of those who tread the path, the stormy senses can sweep off the mind. They live in wisdom who subdue their senses and keep their minds ever absorbed in Me."
― Bhagavad Gita 2.54-61

There is but one religion in all the world, and that is the worship of God, the spiritual Flame of the universe.

In his seminal work, "Initiates of the Flame," Manly P. Hall crafts an intricate tapestry of spiritual symbolism and wisdom that captures the essence of human civilization's ebb and flow through history.

At the heart of this allegorical landscape lies the Sacred Flame, a metaphorical construct symbolizing the divine principle within each of us and the collective consciousness of civilizations.

It is well for us to understand that we ourselves are the cube altar upon which and in which burns the altar fire. For many centuries the Initiate of fire has been nourishing and guarding the Spiritual Flame within himself, as the ancient priests watched day and night the altar fires of Vesta’s temple.

The ever burning lamp of the alchemist, which having burned thousands of years without fuel in the catacombs of Rome, is but a symbol of this same spiritual fire within himself.

It is the Spiritual Flame within himself. It lights his way as no exterior light can. This radiating out from him brings into view, one by one, the hidden things of the cosmos, and his ignorance is dispelled in exactly the same proportion as his light is spread, for the darkness of the unknown can only be removed by light, and the greater the light, the further back the darkness is driven.

This is the Lamp of the Philosopher, which he carries through the dark passageways of life, and by the light of which he walks among the stones and along the narrow cliff edge without fear. But although he gain all other things and have not this light within himself, he cannot know where he goes; he cannot watch his footsteps; and he cannot dispel his ignorance with the light of truth.

“When science shall enter into thy heart and wisdom shall be sweet unto thy soul, then ask and it shall be granted unto thee.”

Let us now delve within the mysteries of the sign of Cancer in accordance with Esoteric Astrology. Among the Egyptians, Cancer is the zodiacal sign related with the scarab, the famous symbol of the Soul. Commonly, you find the symbol of the crab within that sign, which is also, we will say, an insect from the sea; insects characterize themselves because they do not have skeletons but exoskeletons, which is outside. We have the skeleton inside, but the insects have it outside.

Cancer is a sign governed by the Moon, which is related with the thymus gland. When we enter into the studies of endocrinology, we discover that the thymus gland starts its functions specifically during infancy, during seven years, according to the cycle of the planets and with the Law of the Heptaparaparshinok (the Law of Seven), the Law that organizes. So the immune system of the physical body has - among the organs, glands of the endocrine system - the thymus gland as a main gland that provides the "T" cells, to help to fight the different bacteria, viruses, sicknesses, that eventually will enter into the physical body.

"Upon leaving the body, taking the path of fire, of the light of the day, of the fortnight of the Moon and of the northern solstice, those who know Brahma go to Brahma."
― The Bhagavad Gita 8:24

"The yogi who upon dying goes on the path of smoke, of the dark fortnight of the Moon and of the southern solstice, reaches the lunar sphere and is then reborn."
― Bhagavad Gita 8:25

"These two paths, the luminous and the dark, are considered permanent. One becomes emancipated on the first one, and is reborn on the second one."
― Bhagavad Gita 8:2

"For the Being there’s never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain."
― Bhagavad Gita 2:20

The ego is born; the ego dies. Distinguish between the ego and the Being. The Being is not born, neither does it die, nor reincarnate.

Three are the types of fruits of actions: unpleasant, pleasant and the mixture of both.

Those fruits become adhered, after death, to those who have not renounced, but not to the man of renunciation.

"Learn from me, oh, mighty armed one, about these five causes, related to the fulfillment of actions, according to the highest wisdom, which is the goal of every action."
― Bhagavad Gita 18:12-13

The body, the ego, the organs, the functions and the Deities (planets) are the five causes.

Any proper or improper act, whether it be physical, verbal or mental, has those five causes.

"Now, such being the case, the one who due to defective comprehension considers Atman, (the Being), the Absolute, as an actor, is stubborn, does not see Reality."
― Bhagavad Gita 18:14-16

The Bhagavad Gita makes, therefore, a differentiation between the ego (the “I”) and the Being (Atman).

The intellectual animal, erroneously called a human being, is a compound of body, ego (the “I”), organs, and functions. It is a machine moved by the Deities or, in other words, the planets.

Many times, it is enough for the waves of any cosmic catastrophe to reach the Earth in order to launch those sleeping humanoid machines to the battlefields. Millions of sleeping machines... against millions of other sleeping machines.

The Moon brings egos to the womb and the Moon takes them away. Max Heindel states that conception is always carried out while the Moon is in Cancer. Conception without the Moon is impossible.

The first seven years of life are governed by the Moon. The second seven years of life are one hundred percent Mercurial: the child then goes to school, is restless, and is in incessant movement.

The third septennial period of life, tender adolescence between fourteen and twenty-one years of life, are governed by Venus, the star of love; this is the age of the sting, the age of love, the age in which we see life through rose-colored glasses.

From twenty-one to forty-two years of life, we have to occupy our little place under the Sun and to define our life. This period is governed by the Sun.

The septennial period comprised from forty-two to forty-nine years of age is one hundred percent Martian thus life becomes an authentic battlefield, because Mars is war.

"The natives of Gemini are of firm will, possess great courage, are versatile and like to travel a lot. Their lives are a mixture of successes and failures. At times they live in comfort and at times they have to endure much misery. They are very intelligent and become irritated easily. The defect of those born under Gemini is that they want to solve all matters with their head; they always want to silence the wise voice of the heart and this creates all kinds of problems for them."

Having already practiced the exercises of Taurus, we will now enter into the brilliant constellation of Gemini.

This sign governs the arms, lungs, and legs, and is essentially of a Mercurial nature.

Gemini is in the house of Mercury. The metal of this sign is Azoth.

Its stone is golden beryl and its colour is yellow.

The Lords of Mercury are now teaching mankind how to travel in the Astral Body. Thus, inevitably, the disciple must be concerned with learning how to travel in the Astral Body.

The authentic schools of mystery are found in the Astral Plane. This is why it is necessary for the disciple to learn how to “separate” the Astral Body from the physical body. It is necessary for the student to learn how to enter into those sanctuaries of inner instruction in order to receive direct instruction from the Masters of the great White Lodge.

The time has arrived for students to learn how to enter those sanctuaries in the Astral at will in order to receive direct teachings from the great instructors. The hour has arrived to abandon theories and go directly to what is practical.

The Lords of Mercury assist all those who ask for help.

The astrological sign of Gemini illustrates a function of duality. When you observe the astrological sign of Gemini, you will see two columns or two rods placed side by side. Of course, this illustrates two brothers, twins who work together, and this illustrates a fundamental axis of nature. Among the Greeks, they are illustrated in the mythological story of Castor and Pollux, who were two brothers. Their story, which is quite involved and detailed, essentially depicts these two brothers passing through these various types of experience, but what is most notable is that one will die, while the other lives, though they have to work together to sustain their mutual existence. This story allegorizes how energies within nature function.

Nature is constructed of matter and energy. Matter becomes energy, and energy becomes matter. This is important to understand. The consciousness we have is energy. The longing to understand that energy, to understand God, to understand the consciousness, is an energy. That energy has entered into matter, which is our own physical body. Castor and Pollux symbolize the transformation of energy into matter, and matter into energy. They also symbolize other aspects of nature, like evolution and devolution, the way energies ascend and descend, or evolve and devolve. They symbolize birth and death, two aspects of the same function.

All of these forces, all of these Laws which manage nature, affect the development of our consciousness. The stellar influence of Gemini is the influence of a given intelligence which provides for us a kind of energy, energy that may be used to either to develop ourselves or degenerate ourselves.

In "Prometheus Bound," lEschylus causes two beings, Kratos and Bia, a male and a female potentiality respectively, to bind Prometheus.

From this it is to be inferred that the heavenly light~bearer and the divine splendor which he carried are rendered impotent by the philosophy of the opposites which, by dividing man's resources and severing the elements of his concentration, cause him to scatter his agencies and dissipate his strength.

In his book on "Numbers," W. Wynn Westcott also notes the fatality which follows the number 2 in connection with the British Crown. The English kings, William II, Edward II, and Richard II, were all murdered. The Romans also dedicated the second month of the year to Pluto, the god of death.

The Twins have a Qabbalistic significance, for they not only signify the two Talmuds of the Jews but also the written and unwritten law, the Torah and the Qabbalah. Jewish writings contain many strange statements with reference to the number 2, as for example, that speech is worth one coin but silence is worth two. The number 2 is also referred to as the number of pride and is related to the fall of man.

"When your body is rightly posed [asana], and your mind [consciousness] absorbed deep in meditation [Dhyana], you may feel that thought and mind both disappear, yet this is but the surface experience of Dhyana. By constant practice and mindfulness thereon, one feels radiant self-awareness shining like a brilliant lamp. It is pure and bright as a flower, it is like the feeling of staring into the vast and empty sky. The awareness of Voidness is limpid and transparent, yet vivid. This non-thought, this radiant and transparent experience, is but the feeling of Dhyana. With this good foundation one should further pray to the three precious ones [Buddha, Dharma, Sangha], and penetrate to Reality by deep thinking and contemplation [on the nature of the Absolute]. He thus can tie the non-ego wisdom [prajna] with the beneficial life-rope of deep Dhyana. With the power of kindness and compassion, and with the altruistic vow of the bodhi-heart [Bodhichitta], he can see direct and clear the truth of the enlightened path, of which nothing can be seen, yet all is clearly visioned. He sees how wrong were the fears and hopes of his own mind."
― Milarepa - The Shephard's Search for Mind

“The soul of every living being emanates from an atom. This atom is the Ain Soph. Each person has his own Ain Soph. This is a star that shines in infinite space beyond the nine Heavens. Souls must return to their Star, to their own Ain Soph. This return towards their Star, the Ain Soph, is a divine event. The day when the soul is Self-realized will be when it has the luxury of returning to its star.”
― Samael Aun Weor - Tarot and Kabbalah

"Internal meditation is a scientific system to receive information. When the wise submerges into meditation, he searches for information. Meditation is the daily bread of the wise. Meditation has different steps. Asana (posture of the body), Pratyahara (serene mind), Dharana (internal concentration), Dhyana (internal meditation), Samadhi (ecstasy). Firstly, we must place our body in a very comfortable position. We have to place our mind in serenity before starting our concentration; that is to say, we have to remove every type of thought from our mind. After having accomplished the former steps, we then rise up to the steps of Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi."

“It is completely impossible to experience the Being — the Innermost, the Reality — without becoming true technical and scientific masters of that mysterious science called meditation. It is completely impossible to experience the Being — the Innermost, the Reality — without having reached a true mastery of the quietude and silence of the mind. Nevertheless, we must not deceive ourselves and be ready to buy a “pig in a poke,” since the “I” also lusts for and covets those silences, and it even fabricates them artificially.”
— Samael Aun Weor - Spiritual Power of Sound

In the first few lectures of this course about the Fuel for Spiritual Experience, we have been describing factors that provide a foundation for which spiritual experience becomes a reality, something that can actually happen. This is important. This is the whole reason why we study Gnosis: to actually have experience, not to just have theories or beliefs, but to see, taste, touch, and feel the reality that is beyond the physical senses, the realities of the spirit. Those realities exist.

"The Being — the Innermost, the Reality — is totally different from that which the pseudo-occultists and pseudo-esotericists call Superior “I” or Divine “I.” The experience of Reality is completely different, distinct from everything the mind has ever experienced. The experience of Reality cannot be communicated to anybody because it does not look like anything that the mind has experienced before. When one has experienced Reality, one then comprehends very deeply the disastrous state in which one is abiding, and then one only aspires to know oneself without wanting to become more than one is. At the present time, the wretched intellectual animal falsely called “human being” only has inside one useful element. This element is the Buddhata, the Essence of the mind, with which we can experience the Being, the Innermost, the Reality. This precious element is trapped in the bottle of the animal intellect. During profound inner meditation, when the mind is totally quiet and in an absolute silence — within and without, not only in the superficial level, but also in all the different corridors, subconscious extracts, zones and lands — then the Essence, the precious element, escapes from within the bottle and fuses with the Being, the Innermost, in order to experience Reality."

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your lack of faith [ἀπιστία apistia]: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith [πίστις pistis] as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
― Matthew 17

In one of the ancient scriptures of Buddhism, it states:

"We say that unsurpassed bodhi [wisdom, Chokmah] has faith as its cause. The causes of awakening are innumerable, but if stated as faith, this covers everything. O Śāriputra, the ultimate truth is really approachable only by faith."
― Uttara-tantra-shastra / Ratnagotravibhāga by Buddha Maitreya

"Faith is direct experience of the real, the magnificent vivifi- cation of the Inner Human Being, authentic divine cognition. The Inner Human being, by knowing his own internal world through direct mystical experience, will obviously also know the internal worlds of all the people who populate the face of the Earth."
― Samael Aun Weor - The Great Rebellion

“Those who have true faith do not need to believe. This is because genuine faith is living knowledge, exact cognition, and direct experience.”
― Samael Aun Weor - The Great Rebellion

Faith is a consequence of our actions. Swami Sivananda said very, very clearly:

"Breath is external manifestation of Prana, the vital force. Breath like electricity, is gross Prana. Breath is Sthula, gross. Prana is Sukshma, subtle. By exercising control over this breathing you can control the subtle Prana inside. Control of Prana means control of mind. Mind cannot operate without the help of Prana. The vibrations of Prana only produce thoughts in the mind. It is Prana that moves the mind. It is Prana that sets the mind in motion. It is the Sukshma Prana or Psychic Prana that is intimately connected with the mind. This breath represents the important fly-wheel of an engine. Just as the other wheels stop when the driver stops the fly-wheel, so also other organs cease working, when the Yogi stops the breath. If you can control the fly-wheel, you can easily control the other wheels. Likewise, if you can control the external breath, you can easily control the inner vital force, Prana. The process by which the Prana is controlled by regulation of external breath, is termed Pranayama. Just as a goldsmith removes the impurities of gold by heating it in the hot furnace, by strongly blowing the blow-pipe, so also the Yogic student removes the impurities of the body and the Indriyas by blowing his lungs, i.e., by practising Pranayama. The chief aim of Pranayama is to unite the Prana with the Apana and take the united Pranapana slowly towards the head. The effect or fruit of Pranayama is Udghata or awakening of the sleeping Kundalini."
― Swami Sivananda - The Science of Pranayama

Prana is energy. Prana is Christ. That energy is the energy that palpitates in the heart of every existing thing. Everything: every rock, plant, fish, horse, planet, sun, universe, sun, is sustained by the fire of Christic Prana. That is why Christ is “the life, the light, and the way.” It is the energy of existence. It is the Ain Soph Aur. That prana, that energy vibrates in many different modalities, many different levels of existence, and it is what sustains everything. It is the great breath. Everything that is in you is prana, in different modifications. We live, we breathe, we exist, we are sustained by that force.

“Prana is the sum total of all energy that is manifest in the universe. It is the sum total of all the forces in nature. It is the sum total of all latent forces and powers which are hidden in men [and women] and which lie everywhere around us. Heat, light, electricity, magnetism are the manifestations of prana. Whatever moves or works or has life is but an expression of manifestation of prana. The prana is related to mind [Hod / Netzach] and through mind to will [Tiphereth], and through will to the individual soul [Tiphereth / Geburah], and through this to the Supreme Being [Chesed / Atman]. If you know how to control the little waves of prana working through your mind, then the secret of subjugating universal prana will be known to you.”

"That which is above is like that which is below. At the beginning of the aurora of creation, the sexual fire of the Third Logos fecundates the womb of the great mother, the fundamental substance. The second part is performed by the Second Logos, the Cosmic Christ, by incarnating himself within the worlds that are arising, so that all beings can have life, and have it in abundance. This event is repeated within the Microcosmos human. The first one who intervenes is the Third Logos, when fertilizing the chaotic matter contained in the semen and in the dorsal spine, fertilizing the Divine Mother, the Akashic principle, so that the inner universe, the solar bodies, are born. Thereafter, the Second Logos is born within those superior existential bodies of the Being, in order to work in the Great Work of the Father."
— Samael Aun Weor - Light from Darkness

"The Divine Ray and the Chaos, Pistis Sophia and the Great Abyss, shine with pleasure when united. Thus, the Chaos delectably sparkles when obtaining its meaning from this union with the Spirit. When Sophia, as Divine Spirit, is associated with the Chaos, then the Protogonos, the primogenial light, emerges. The Logoic Ray, impregnated by Sophia, fecundates the waters of life, in order for the Universe to emerge."
— The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

Pistis Sophia is a series of books, also known as The Books of the Savior, written many centuries ago. It is the bible of the Christian Gnostics. A major portion outlines the story and the path of one who is attempting to incarnate Wisdom (Christ) within themselves. This book was written sometime shortly after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who in this book is called Aberamentho.

It is said that eleven years after he resurrected that he gave these teachings. The book itself is very elevated, speaking about, and pointed towards, someone who is already on the path and who has developed themselves to a certain degree. By this we mean, the teachings of the Pistis Sophia are the teachings to live the drama of Christ in our hearts and minds. It deals with death, resurrection, and ascension - the path of Christ. We must work to understand these teachings on our own level.

The Pistis Sophia is very esoteric, very alchemical and Kabbalistic, very veiled in symbolism, and it was a book was lost for quite some time, at least to our visible public eyes. It rested in obscurity for quite a long time, even though the Western world found it in the late 1700s, the scholars and the people who read it could not make any sense of it, so it just sat in a collection of a museum.

H. P. Blavatsky commented quite extensively on The Pistis Sophia, but when one studies this commentary, it is more related with Cosmogenesis (creation of the universe) than Anthropogenesis (the full development and creation of the human being).

“A Yogi generally performs his wonders by means of Iccha-Shakti and Kriyashakti.”
― H.P. Blavatsky - The Secret Doctrine

Iccha-shakti is the will of our consciousness and the sexual force of life. It is the will in all dynamic forces of the universe; it is willpower. In order to develop willpower, we need to act spiritually; we need Kriya-Shakti, that is, to act with the heart, with intuition. These are two of the three parts of the creative cosmic power called Shakti. The other is Jnanashakti, the power to know.

“Moses, the man who liberated the electric might of Iccha-Shakti, willpower, possesses the gift of prodigies. This is known by the Divine Ones and humans. So it is written. All that the sacred scriptures state about this Hebrew leader is certainly extraordinary, portentous.”
― Samael Aun Weor

Regarding Iccha-Shakti, the willpower of our consciousness and the sexual force of life, the Lord prayer states:

“Thy kingdom come thy will (Iccha-Shakti) be done on earth as it is in heaven”
― Matthew 6: 10

The great Rabbi of Galilee, Jesus, knew that the Yoni, the feminine cup, was kabbalistically associated with the letter Kaf, this is why he said:

“O my Father, if this cup (כ Kaf) may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will (Iccha-Shakti) be done.”
― Matthew 26: 42

So, Iccha-Shakti is a Sanskrit word that means willpower, that develops through Kriya, action, whereas Jnana, is another Sanskrit word that means “knowledge.”

The electric might of Iccha-Shakti–Willpower, or Kundalini, is liberated by means of Tantra Yoga, which in the western world is known as the science of Alchemy. The Kabbalists, the Gnostics, in the time of Jesus, in order to introduce Sexual Alchemy into the western world, replaced or adapted the Sanskrit term Iccha-Shakti with the Greek word Thelema, this is why in their ceremonies within the Catacombs of Rome they said:

“Whosoever calls ye Thelemites shall not commit an injustice as long as they comprehend the word with perfection, because it contains exactly three degrees:

1) The man who dwells within silence (which relates with Binah),

2) The man who loves (related with Gedulah, also called Chesed),

3) The vulgar man of the Earth.”

“Source of the Iccha Shakti, Kriya Shakti and the Gnana Shakti. When this energy unites with the Shiva tattva, Skanda is born.”
― Bhanumathi Narasimhan - Parashakti

"Though Christ a thousand times in Bethlehem be born. And not within thyself, thy soul will be forlorn. The Cross on Golgotha thou lookest to in vain unless within thyself it be set up again."
― Angelus Silesius - Messenger of the Heart <3

Easter is one of the primary days of the Christian calendar, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion. In the West, Easter is celebrated on the Sunday following the full moon next after the vernal equinox (between March 22 and April 25).

Easter, also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday, is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial following his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary c. 30 AD.

This Holy Day is actually far older than Christianity. The name “Easter” is derived from the Old German name “Ostara,” and, in Anglo-Saxon, Eastre, or Eostre, the goddess of spring, fertility, and the rising sun. This name is a variation on the name of Ishtar, the Babylonian and Assyrian goddess of love and fertility.

The term Christ is derived from the Greek krestos, which esoterically means fire. Christ is an energy. This energy can incarnate within the human being. Those who earn this sacred gift can then be called "Christ." The Christ is represented in many religions.

Christ is a universal principle within all religions, not only incarnated within Jesus of Nazareth, but Quetzalcoatl, Krishna, Buddha, Moses, and all masters properly prepared through initiation.

Just as the Spring sun resurrects nature. Likewise Christ, the cosmic solar energy of divine intelligence, resurrects spiritual life within the soul through the mysteries of Easter.

"Christ is Ormus, Ahura-Mazda among the Persians, who is the antithesis of Ahriman (Satan).

Christ is Vishnu in the sacred land of the Vedas. He is the Second Logos, sublime emanation of Brahma, the First Logos.

The Avatar Krishna is the Hindustani Jesus. The gospel of this Master is similar to the gospel of the divine Rabbi of Galilee.

Fu-Ji is the Cosmic Christ among the ancient Chinese, the one who wrote the famous I-Ching, the book of laws, and who designated Dragon Ministers for the good of humanity

Osiris was in fact the Christ in the sunny country of Khem, in the land of the Pharaohs, and whosoever incarnated Him was an Osirified One.

Quetzalcoatl is the Mexican Christ, who is now dwelling in distant Tule."

― Samael Aun Weor - The Three Mountains

The Christ is widely represented by the Sun, the giver of light and life. In Kabbalah, we speak of the Christ as the Solar Logos: the Sun that illuminates the Tree of Life.

In the West, Jesus of Nazareth, who was actually named Jeshua ben Pandira, incarnated the Christ. He became the Son of the Sun, the Light of the World. He taught the path to do as he had done.
