Join us on a nostalgic journey through the innovative world of early 1980s gaming, as we explore Bill Budge's groundbreaking Pinball Construction Set, Gottlieb's quirky Caveman pinball/video game hybrid, and the humble yet influential ZX81 computer.
Pinball Construction Set, released in 1983 for the Apple II and later ported to various platforms. Designed by Bill Budge, this revolutionary game allowed users to build their own virtual pinball machines by dragging and dropping parts onto a table, adjusting physics settings, and even painting custom designs.
Also experience Caveman, a unique pinball machine from Gottlieb that combined traditional pinball with a simple maze video game and we check out a couple games on the ZX81, the very odd Zero Gravity Pinball and more.
