From the album, All the Pain Money Can Buy, released March 10, 1998, just in time for Spring Break. The Way played on the radio as we were driving over the bridge into Panama City Beach. That was the first time we'd heard it and we all loved it. The Waitress Song by The Ziggens played right after. The Way was on the radio whenever we turned a CD off. The music video for The Way was on TV when I got home. I went and bought the CD at Sam Goody and took it to the mall theater and played it over the sound system for the lobby and in-theater between showings. I helped sweep even though it was my day off. The next year, Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine played on the bridge to PCB. Good times.

One of those first few albums I picked up in the mid-90s. Add it to the recently missing list with Sly and the Family Stone and Bob Dylan. This was a FLAC file before screen capturing at 320kbps audio and then uploading it to Youtube.

The single release of Stop! reached #2 U.K., #16 Austria, #18 Germany, #2 Ireland, #49 Netherlands, #15 Switzerland, #97 U.S. Billboard Hot 100, 1988. The Crackers International EP reached #2 U.K. Singles, #73 U.S. Billboard Top 200 Albums and EPs, #1 Argentina, #16 Austria, #36 Belgium, #5 Brazil, #10 Bolivia, 5 Columbia, #1 Denmark, #3 Billboard Eurochart, #21 Finland, #2 Ireland, #2 Israel, #13 Netherlands Top 40, #49 Netherlands Top 100, #40 New Zealand, #15 Switzerland, #18 West Germany, 1989.

I was searching for the segment where the kids were taking turns trying to remember it. Y'all remember? "Pinweel, pinwheel, uh, uh....Oh boy. ...Pinwheel, pinwheel BREEZY AND BRIGHT..." Pinwheel went off the air in the late 80s and was replaced by Eureeka's Castle. I was content watching Pinwheel but not that baby stuff on Eureeka's Castle with the same European animated segments, which was the main draw for me. Then I grew up.

Apparently I can't leave a review on Amazon "yet" because I haven't "earned" the right to because I'm too new? I've had that account for at least 15 years and have left dozens of positive reviews and barely any negative, probably less than three quite a few years ago. Comments disappear all over the internet. Positive ebay feedback instantly disappears just like Youtube comments, innocuous or otherwise. Back to party favors for little kids, wind up these frogs and they barely scoot backward in a circle or just sit there clicking up and down. The plush covered "Easter" ones from Walmart work amazingly, at least this one I've got. I never pass up cheap old style automatons...for myself. They were gone the next week of course when I decided they would be one little thing I can bring to an upcoming cookout. Watching a toy not work well or barely at all is no fun. You're trying to play with garbage. I'm not one of these adults that throw something at a child and say they'll like it like the new sweat sock flavored Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Dinner. "My kids love it." Your feeding them sweat sock STENCH and giving them toys that don't work and acting like they should be excited...over junk wind up frogs that shuffle backward in a weak circle. Don't do that to children unless you give them hammers too. This was a "review" on the three that weren't broken from being sent in a thin sheet of plastic from Hong Kong. Don't buy this trash from within your country either, unless you're one to hand a child a turd and say "Have fun!"

The Walker Bros. - The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore) 1966. She doesn't want to come in with me. She wants to root around and destroy the backyard till all hours to get to what seems to be a very healthy colony of ugly grubs on one side of the yard, close to a neighbor's small and well-tended vegetable garden. She's in a trance and so is her sister. A fat grub trance. Must keep digging deeper and pack dirt up the nose hard. What a dummy. No "lay down go sleeps, good girl" tonight. * closes door *

Side 2B:
'45 Stars Get Ready

'45 Stars Get Ready is my second favorite of their "originals". https://youtu.be/DQZooOtcplo The B-side of the first single, that infamously long-titled 60s-80s/Beatles medley, is an 80s classic. And I mean the B-side. The medleys are okay to play through sometimes, but these two are actually good, weird, quirky, fun songs. Some of the lyrics seem meaningless, or just dumb. I don't necessarily mean that as a negative criticism. I was little, but this album in particular was being played at Christmas in 1983-85. This album has been around my entire life. This is my own copy, found down the street back in 2016 or so.
