This game defied all my expectations, as high as they were. The world of Final Fantasy VII has always been an engaging and immersive one, but Rebirth takes it to another level with it's atmosphere, story, music, and characters.

A video explanation on where I've been because not everyone reads community posts and follows me on X. long story short, I'm pausing content on this channel until I recover from this particularly rough flu season.

With no sarcasm and no over the top reactions - let's take an objective look at one of the most maligned albums in heavy metal history. Is it truly as bad as everyone says, or is it a diamond in the rough? As St. Anger celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, what better time to answer these questions once and for all.

7.5/10 While this is my least favorite AC/DC album of the Bon Scott Era, it still boasts some classics that have become staples in AC/DC's massive catalogue of hard rock masterpieces.

The songs in video, "Midnight/Tornado" by Skid Row and "Take Me Away" by Killswitch Engage are fair use under U.S. copyright law because they are (1) non-commercial, (2) transformative in nature, (3) uses no more of the original work than necessary for the video's purpose, and (4) does not compete with the original work and could have no negative affect on its market

8/10 Here we find much better cut of what would be released internationally, but Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap nevertheless almost signaled the end of AC/DC due to an unhappy record label.

Release spread:
Dirty Deeds (1994 Atco Remaster) - All songs except Jailbreak and R.I.P.,
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (International) - All songs except Dirty Deeds (full length), R.I.P., Ain't No Fun (full length), and Jailbreak
'74 Jailbreak - Jailbreak
Backtracks - R.I.P. (Rock In Peace), Full length versions of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and Ain't No Fun (Waitin' 'Round To Be A Millionaire)

6.5/10 The long awaited Armored Saint album has a very atmospheric and dark feel to it and retains the band's signature heaviness, however the redundant and repetitive nature of the songs here leave much to be desired.

9.5/10 AC/DC's 1976 international debut is certainly a contender for one of the best hard rock albums out there. With that being said there are a few minor gripes I have with the structures of a few songs.

9.5/10 I have NO IDEA why the band would snub this release in favor of the International version of High Voltage. This is where AC/DC truly found their signature sound and decided to run with it. This version features extended versions of High Voltage, It's A Long Way To The Top. Rocker also has an extended solo on the vinyl release. This album is Phil Rudd's AC/DC studio debut.

Release spread:
High Voltage [International] (Every song except Rocker, School Days, and the original length versions of High Voltage and It's A Long Way To The Top)
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap [International] (Rocker)
Bonfire (School Days, It's A Long Way To The Top original length)
Backtracks (High Voltage original length, Rocker Extended solo)

7.5/10 ACϟDC's debut album was only released in Australia, and featured a compilation of songs that sound very experimental. There are a few glimpses of the style ACϟDC would eventually tune-in on but for the most part the Australian version of High Voltage falls short of the albums that would succeed it. This may be due to the frequent lineup changes during this time period, but that's for you to decide.

Release spread:
High Voltage [International] (Little Lover/She's Got Balls)
'74 Jailbreak (You Ain't Got A Hold On Me, Baby Please Don't Go, Soul Stripper, Show Business)
Backtracks (Stick Around, Love Song)

7.5/10 This period in the band's history is typically ignored, often without justification. In this video we examine and review AC/DC's first single LP that features Dave Evans on vocals.

9/10 I came into this album expecting a rehash of Ballbreaker - Rock Or Bust, but that can't be farther from the truth. This album, the first released since the death of founding rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, incorporates many of the same elements that made AC/DC's recent albums so appealing, but the songs pack a punch that we haven't seen since The Razor's Edge, if not Flick Of The Switch.

8/10 One of AC/DC's most energetic live efforts, this "Deluxe" edition boasts 9 new tracks. As this is an extended version of the 1992 album, it suffers from the same problems plaguing the original release. The tracks included are not from a single set, but many recorded in 1990-1991. This means that we are getting the best cuts but there is a lack of cohesion that accompanies this fact.

9.8/10 AC/DC has truly outdone themselves here. Shot In The Dark showcases everything the band does well from the simple riffage to Brian Johnson's improved vocal ability. There isn't much left to be desired with this single!

9.5/10 A live album celebrating the release of S&M back in 1999, the sequel fixes many problems the original had. However some of it may seem a bit derivative if listened to back to back from the original.

9.8/10 When people describe this album as a rebirth for FFDP, they are absolutely 100% right. This is their best album for many reasons - but first and foremost it captures the energy and heaviness of their live presence and translates it to a studio setting.

9/10 The definitive Live album that capped off Bon Scott's career wasn't released until nearly two decades after his death. This is a wonderfully produced album and has songs you won't find anywhere else in the Scott era, but some songs run on a bit too long with nothing really happening.

Youtube doesn't give a shit about increasing the viewership of smaller channels. Even in the face of so many telling Google the SAME THINGS about their actions, they continue to push policies of censorship, suppression, and corporatism. This started in 2009 and it is now 2020 - it has to stop.
