Privacy Concerns
Unlike decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, CBDCs are completely controlled by the government. This means every transaction you make could potentially be tracked and monitored. Imagine a world where every coffee purchase, every online subscription, is logged in a government database. Feeling uncomfortable yet?
