This video is a more accurate representation of the "CenturyLink: Power To Connect" advertisement.

Where I live, I only get about 3 Mbps Download/1 Mbps Upload speeds. This is very bad, and does not even come close the the Federal Communications Commission's definition of broadband internet. Despite this and having received hundreds of thousands of dollar in government funding to "improve" rural internet connections... there has been basically no improvement. To make matters worse, CenturyLink sold their many of their customers to another company (BrightSpeed) which hasn't done really anything to improve rural connections.
