We get a lot of questions from beginner and experienced anglers that have never used a popping cork before to target redfish and trout.
There are a lot of different techniques to using a popping cork, you can use live bait, but in this video we focus on using a jig head and soft plastic.
We also show you the two types of corks that we sell and how we tend to use the egg shaped for targeting trout.
Most of the time we use the corks to target redfish with a 1/4 oz jig head and soft plastic like our Taddletail Shad, but we also discuss another popular method in which you can use the same technique with an imitation shrimp of your choice or live bait.
Hope this helps you have the confidence to use our popping corks to help you catch more redfish and trout and even search some new water that you have not fished before to find new fish.
