This will be an interesting one-off stream where we look at the first two Wonder Boy games on the Sega Master System, the second of which is actually the first Monster World game. The first Wonder Boy game was also on the NES where it was known as Adventure Island published by Hudson Soft. Very convoluted history, although this game essentially branched off into 3 different franchises. The spiritual successor to the Monster World games being Shantae, another fantastic series. So, why not take a look at the origins of all of this? Wish me luck, and let's go!
