Again, at this point, in my area, it makes me bristle every time I see one of the vehicles of these supposed help agencies, showing up to hand out food.
That's funny; places like Siloam Mission--which over the past few years, built a completely NEW building beside its second old one--has food service almost three times a day. We have food banks everywhere, on top of this.
You need to DELIVER food to an encampment that is like, fifteen minutes from Siloam? Give me a break.
There's a seediness--and a shameless sham--to this whole operation of 'helping the homeless'.
As I've even mentioned, in my immediate area by the riverbank, the MAJORITY of campers (who cause the fires that has this area on speed dial with the fire department) are not homeless, just living outside.
They are opportunists, setting up areas for burning wire and gathering and assembling bikes, (and other crap) which I will assume were stolen from surrounding areas.
This is complete and utter bullshit.
In fact, my friend, the other day, mentioned quite CLEARLY to me that the old timers who USED to inhabit this strip of the riverbank, to quietly gather and drink their beers?
They don't come here anymore. It's too toxic an environment.

Trump sees RFK Junior as a plant. What's your view? He seems to have a lot of details against him in this post. I have to admit, the ONLY thing I know about RFK Junior is his health stance and over time, I've agreed with him on that. I think he was one of the first I heard talking about problems with childhood vaccines.
