My little trek into Stehekin, WA. First time solo camping, I finally overcame my fear of camping alone! See how it went - uphill mountain biking to camp, late summer rain, angry yellow jackets attack me, amazing wilderness views, crystal clear blue river (potential fishing spot in the future!), late night visit by a bobcat, and it all started with a two hour ferry ride to this hidden gem of a location, because Stehekin is not accessible by road.

This is the trip that made me decide to start making content for a channel.Hope you like my video, even if it's cheesy ! I intend on making more in the future

My sister got us a Groupon for kayak rentals at Guana State Park, in Ponte Vedra, FL so we went on Valentines day and made it a "Gal-entines" day sister adventure. It was a challenging kayak excursion it was low tide - with tides coming in (oops!), and winds were pretty heavy. It didn't stop us though!
We powered through it like true Florida gals! Such a fun day :). We're both goofballs, so hope you enjoy this video ---

We started at the North Guana Outpost (the kayak rental place), then made our way south on the Guana River - going with the tidal flow. To our left, a thin strip of marshy land and A1A was betwen us and the Atlantic Ocean. To our right, gorgeous marsh land with palm trees and oaks in the background - making up the Guana River Wildlife Management Area.

Aside from the gustiness, the weather was wonderful and it was a perfect winter day in the Sunshine State.
