I put aside all the reason that I don't gym on Moondays. It's part of the new schedule. We're still hammering it out between distractions.
Everything felt heavier today. We think we figured out why.
Our exercises are still the same. That's another part of the discipline. We have 4 main exercises that we perform differently every visit. We expect to return to superior strength in lifting. We're aiming for numbers we managed, literally 20 years ago, our strongest year. It's a long shot. 250 lb bench press on a bad day might be beyond our capacity. "Might be." We won't know. We haven't reached body weight parity yet. If we can defeat boredom we can maybe do these same exercises until the end of summer. Then evaluate. Would love to find a place to do angled leg presses and hack squats, but, you know.
Here's the work:
All we're doing as far as lifting goes is deadlifts, weighted pullups and reverse grip bench press. That's how we start. The rest is core, agility, hangs, balance and some light weight work in awkward positions. Read all about it.

No one reads these, but we'll add it anyway. Season 6 was amazing. We did a lot of unorthodox protocols from our past, most notably the Special Forces countdown workout, which led to 10x10s. We gained mind-blowing stamina & endurance. I literally couldn't stop marveling about it. We extended our weekly walks from 4 to 8 miles. We continued running and have completed a few 3 mile runs. More burpees, barwalks, dips, pullups and handstands outside. More bulking expected in Season 7.
