NKV Bites - Why Abraham died without receiving the promised land

What was the significance of the promised land to Abraham?
The Land had a function of portraying man’s oneness with God. When Adam lost that oneness, he was dispossessed.
Therefore, in the promised Seed would be the repossession of the True Land, which would be the reconnection of man with God, in the Oneness with God, through the removal of sins, which the offering for sins were the shadows of.
Now as Hebrews 11 points out, all died without receiving the promise because Christ had not yet come! The true land promise was to be found in Christ.
By Faith they were looking for its fulfillment.
