Kaylee Gain a 16 year old girl was beat within an inch of her life and has remained in a coma ever since. It is unclear at this point the extent of the damage and yet her attackers family is asking for some forgiveness and compassion for the girl who did this to her!
There are currently a lot of conflicting articles out there, some stating that Kaylee was the bully and some stating that her attacker was the bully...Either way, what happened here is wrong and should never happen again.
I am not stating that I think Kaylee was the bully in this case but for those that are taking that stance just think of this......
Let's say that Kaylee was the bully in this case and the girl was just "defending herself", After the numerous kicks and punches to the head and kaylee was on the ground bleeding (no more a threat) the girl could have just gotten up and walked away. At that point she had stood up for herself enough to where her bullying would probably never happen again. Instead, she then continued the damage by getting on top of kaylee and repeatedly smashing her head onto the concrete until she was no longer moving. Which is no longer considered self defense but now moves into the charges of attempted murder especially if the "attacker" is as brilliant as her family claims!
What's WRONG is WRONG no matter how you slice it!
