“The wages of sin is death.”

People who try to earn their way to Heaven will receive the wages that sin pays – Hell and the Lake of Fire.

Religion, baptism, reformation, doing good works, and trying to keep the commandments, will never deal with the problem of your sin.

But thank God, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”
1 Timothy 1:15.

This text says, “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This gift has been purchased by the blood of God’s Son.

It cost God everything, but for you it is free – it is a gift.

Which will you choose today – the wages or the gift?

God has made a way in which you can be forgiven and be sure of a home in Heaven, and it's through His Son.

What keeps so many from receiving this gift is pride.

People think they can earn or contribute to salvation, but they cannot.

Will you receive God's gift?

All sins will be judged by God and that's a problem, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

God has made a way for you to be forgiven of your sins, and it's through His Son.

Based on the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, you can have peace with God.

Will you come God's way, through His Son?

Jesus said, "Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37

Too many people think they have time in life to get right with God, but I know many who thought that, and without warning they went into eternity.

"For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14

Don't put off the salvation of your soul. God loves you, Christ has died that you might be saved, and He rose from the dead.

Will you put your trust in Him?

We know that we are forgiven because God has offered salvation as a free gift, and we have received it.

You can receive it as well. Would you like to have everlasting life?

You can because God has made it possible.

God would love for you to have peace.

You have sinned and are guilty, but He's willing to pardon you freely because Christ paid the debt of sin we owe, when He took God's punishment for sins upon the cross.

We love you and so does God. Will you come His way?

"In whom we have redemption through his (Christ's) blood, even the forgiveness of sins" Colossians 1:14

I didn't like to think about death, but we are all living on borrowed time.

"But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?" Job 14:10

What about you?

Where will you be 5 minutes after you die?

You can be sure of Heaven.

The message of the gospel has words of life - words of mercy and forgiveness. You can either receive mercy, or you will perish eternally in everlasting fire.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
John 3:16

God loves you and has done everything necessary for you to be saved.

Will you come His way?

A man in the video was under the impression that Jesus took His life in suicide. We pointed out that it wasn't suicide, but His voluntary giving of His life was to deal with sins.

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God" 1 Peter 3:18

He laid His life down because He doesn't want you to perish in Hell

Will you receive Him?

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Good works and religion will never take you to Heaven.

You need Christ.

A poet once said rightly,

The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At late or early hour.

To lose one's wealth is sad indeed,
To lose one's health is more,
To lose one's soul is such a loss
That no man can restore.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mark 8:36

God doesn't want you to perish in Hell.

He loves you and has provided a way to be forgiven, and it's through His Son.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." John 19:30

Salvation and a home in Heaven = Christ plus NOTHING

Not only can you not save yourself, but any attempt to add your contribution to what Christ alone has accomplished at the cross, will result in Hell and the Lake of Fire, Salvation from sin was accomplished by Christ alone.

The hymn writer has rightly said,

Till to Jesus’ work you cling
By a simple faith,
“Doing” is a deadly thing—
“Doing” ends in death.

Cast your deadly “doing” down—
Down at Jesus’ feet;
Stand in Him, in Him alone,
Gloriously complete.

The bible tells us that in God's sight, we are "alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works"

The good news of the gospel is that God loves His enemies and that Christ has died, so that His enemies can be reconciled back to God.

You can receive God's forgiveness through Christ.

Many carry on everyday as if life in this world will go on forever.

Have you prepared for the unending eternity that lies before you?

"But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?" Job 14:10

"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit" Isaiah 57:15

This is the God that you will one day give an account to for the life that you have lived. He cannot have sin in His Holy presence.

Have your sins been forgiven by God? Are you ready to meet Him?

Do you have peace? Do you have eternal life? Are you ready to meet God?

Christ can give you peace with God.

He can make you ready to meet God, because of what He did for you on the cross.

The children of Israel sinned against God, and their sins brought His judgment upon them.

Thank God that He loved the people and provided a remedy and a way of salvation from the judgment.

This is a beautiful picture of what the Lord Jesus has done for us on the cross. We have sinned, our sins bring judgment in Hell, but Christ has made a way of salvation.

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:14-16

God knows your every thought, word and deed.

Isn't it amazing that He wants you to be saved?

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17

God is out creator, and His creation leaves us without excuse as to His existence. And because He exists, we should seek after Him.

What keeps us separated from Him is sin, but His Son dealt with sin upon the cross. If you come as a repentant sinner and receive the Savior, you'll be forgiven by God Himself.

When you die it's too late to undo mistakes you made in this life.

The biggest mistake you can make, is to die in your sins without Christ.

Jesus said, "Enter ye in at the strait (narrow) gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14

We all commence our journey in this life on the broad way. "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Psalm 51:5

When did you enter the narrow gate? If you are going to be in Heaven, then there will have been a time when, a place where and a manner how, you entered into the narrow gate and started on your way to Heaven.

If you have never had that experience, you can.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:13

You can have peace, and although for you it's at no cost, it was not free.

It cost God the blood of His own Son.

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

Would you like peace with God?

Would you like eternal life?

Would you like to be rid of the fear of death?

Christ is the only way.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10) is God's assessment of the human race. Sin has estranged us from God and causes us to be "alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works." (Colossians 1:21) Sin has closed Heaven's door.

Have you ever asked yourself the question, "Where will I spend eternity?"
The good news of the gospel of Christ, is that He has suffered and paid for sins at the cross and now, if you will receive Him by faith, you will be forgiven. Your sins will be gone.
