The New Jerseys - Whiskey for the Entertainers (Theme from The Entertainers)

SentViaText Productions reached out to The New Jerseys looking to use a music-only sample of Whiskey for a particular scene in one episode of their hit series The Entertainers. Sadly, all the tracks on the debut album were accidentally set in stone back in the day and The Mint Pagoda, despite its vast technological array, does not have any vocal extracting capabilities, so The New Jerseys did them one better. They created an entirely new instrumental score based on Whiskey and SentViaText liked it so much that they used a portion of it as the theme for the whole show.

The New Jerseys – Wrecking Ball (Miley Cyrus Cover)

The New Jerseys were deeply honored once again when SentViaText Productions reached out for another custom song for The Entertainers. This time the challenge was to create a New Jerseys cover version of Miley Cyrus’ hit “Wrecking Ball” that would accompany the Season 1 finale credits. For research purposes, Peter New Jersey watched Miley’s video for the song roughly 16,000 times on repeat like Howard Hughes locked in his private movie theater until a sonic vision for the endeavor began to materialize: a Johnny Cash/Rick Rubin collabo doing a karaoke impersonation of a Weezer/Phil Spector collabo. What you are listening to is the end result. How did it turn out?
