In winter of 2017 Multistrada special was built out of an accident damaged 1000DS. It was finished in April and owner loved it!
However, there are aspects of the bike that he didn't liked, first was the plastic tank with the advent of ethanol in fuel there would be problems in the future and also with the electronics, already the LCD screen had failed, and some of the warning lights (in 2018).
Owner wanted to build a bike that would be a “keeper” for years, so he have decided to rebuild it again over winter with a steel tank, a simple Electronic ignition, (Ignitech) and Carbs
