But of course, you don't want to jump in blindly.
Educate yourself first.
Why do you even want to run advertising for your local business in the first place?
Is it just to look cool as a hip small biz owner, or because you want to generate leads or awareness about your products?
Try and get a decent grasp on the basics. Assign your store manager to take a basic course on Facebook Ads if you can.
And don't be afraid to get expert help.
But at least become knowledgeable on the basics, so you can do it yourself if necessary.
