Everyone knows about hand sanitizer and plenty hand soap to keep the germs and viruses at bay, but have you heard of chlorine dioxide? Yes, it is a chemical, but it’s one of the good guys. It’s yellowish- green colour may deceive you, despite it being one of the best disinfectants around.

Chlorine dioxide was used for the first time in 1944, since its discovery by Sir Humphrey Davy. Its usage at a water treatment plant in Niagara Falls, New York, solved taste and odor issues in the water. The compound was chosen as it is much more soluble in water, and does not produce carcinogenic byproducts from the impurities it is meant to destroy.

Chlorine Dioxide was also used as a disinfectant in the Anthrax attacks of 2001, and to eradicate mold and mildew from homes flooded in hurricane Katrina five years later. The effectiveness of the compound in both major incidents proved it’s efficiency and that it is safe for public use.

Among its uses are sterilization of medical equipment, odor and taste control of water, disinfection and sterilization of water, an oxidizer and is also present in some portable handheld disinfectants such as the Dr. Clo stick.

In a study performed at Seoul National University, chlorine dioxide was tested against Influenza A H1N1 and SARS Coronavirus-2, better known as Covid-19. The study showed that even after 2 hours of exposure, the compound was still able to actively kill the viruses.

Similar to carbon and carbon dioxide, chlorine dioxide is very different from chlorine in terms of chemical structure and behavior. Confusion between the two led to myths claiming that chlorine dioxide depletes the ozone layer like chlorine gas does.

A study performed by Egyptian pharmacologist Professor Abdel-Rahman showed showed that chlorine dioxide breaks down through oxidization processes that occur in our saliva and stomach contents. In the presence of sunlight, it breaks down through natural processes that occur in the environment.

In present times, use of chlorine dioxide has grown rapidly in the food processing industry. It is used as a fumigant to extend the shelf-life of fruits and vegetables which develop mold and yeast. It is also used to disinfect poultry by spraying or immersing, prior to processing.

If you still think you have not been using it, you might find your favorite non-alcohol based mouthwash and toothpaste contain chlorine dioxide. Even with the world at our fingertips, thanks to the internet, it is hard to believe such misconceptions and myths still exist.

This testimonial from Mark (in Thailand) had a tremendous impact on me when I first watched it (probably in 2013 or 2014). My father has a lymphoma next to his heart and has gone through kemo and kept getting extreme nausea that made him lose 30kg he has been complaining about not being able to eat and vomiting from the kemo for over 6 months and has now been diagnosed with stage 2 cancer tumor that has poped up in the esophicus and can't eat at all now has a feed tube in his nose that is being moved to his stomach and no longer wants any medical treatment I'm going to try this when he comes home from hospital next week and let everyone know if it works.

Hi, this is an update. It WORKS. Seriously, give it a try. Dad was not able to eat at all.
- Started on 10th May [2022] with 4 activated drops in 100ml of distilled water every 2 or 3 hours for first week throughout the day.
- 2nd week, 8 activated drops in 100ml distilled water every 2 or 3 hours.
- 3rd week, started adding 8 drops DMSO to the 8 activated drops of CDS in water every 2 or 3 hours.
- 4th week, he started eating soft foods and pureed soups again.
- 5th week, 8 activated drops plus 8 drops of 99.9 % DMSO in 100ml water 3 times a day.
- 6th week, he is eating food again. I think the DMSO really helped but you have to drink plenty of water.

Had CT scan last week. Doctors said tumour is still there, but has not grown and his esophacus has gone back to normal. They seem surprised that he is eating and not taking any of the medications they prescribed.
When he started eating, he got bad reflux. I treated that with 1 tsp of Bicarb in 40ml water then followed by a 100ml glass of 50ml lemon juice and 50ml water or 1tsp of crushed ginger with 1tsp honey in the 50ml lemon and water worked instantly to ease the indigestion instead of the antacids anti nausea they prescribed. Other than some diarherra and headaches in 1st and second weeks and bad body odour and breath from the DMSO, he is looking and doing great now. No more weight loss or gain that has stable since May. Skin cancers on his arms are healing. We are going back to the higher dose protocol we did in May and I will update again end of August or September.

Update from Ken Adachi: The protocols for using MMS has been evolving since Jim Humble first began posting information about MMS on the internet in 2005. Currently, there are two designations for MMS according to Jim Humble: "MMS1 " and "MMS2."
A) MMS1 refers to Jim's original formula of 22.4% Sodium Chlorite solution activated with an equal amount of 50% Citric Acid solution.
B) MMS2 refers to another chlorite compound called Calcium Hypochlorite, which is ingested as granules inside a gel cap and are "activated" by your stomach acid (HCL = hydrochloric aicd).
C) Another idea was developed in 2011 to infuse chlorine dioxide gas directly into water from the activated MMS1 solution and drink the infused water itself, rather than ingest the chlorite salts and the citric acid solution (this proved to be easier on the stomach and is preferred by many people since its very gentle). This form is called "CDS" which stands for Chlorine Dioxide Solution.

"CDS Water" is a name I (Ken Adachi) coined in 2012 to designate chlorine dioxide gas infused in distilled water, an idea demonstrated by Jim Humble in a video he posted in 2011 where Jim used a small baby bottle to hold the activated drops of MMS1. After having inserted two 1/4 inch silicone rubber tubes into the baby bottle rubber nipple, Jim was able to blow air into one tube which then forced chlorine dioxide gas to go into the second tube and then into a bottle of water, thus infusing the gas into water and creating Chlorine Dioxide Solution.

Drinking CDS Water is much easier on the body (no sharp taste) than drinking activated MMS1 with water and allows more people with sensitive stomachs to take in a larger dose of chlorine dioxide with much less stomach soreness. I usually produce CDS Water using the CDS Production Rig (air-blow) method in a concentration of 500ppm for ease of storage in the frig, but I normally consume CDS Water in the 50ppm range (which is plenty strong but feels gentle in the mouth).
